You go though tough times in life with different struggles. There is beauty in that though- not in the struggle, but seeing how you get through them. To help you get though them, always look toward that thing in your life which gives you peace, comfort, and encouragement.

A personal droplet

For the longest time I never took the time to understand what it really meant to live life with no regrets. I just thought that, you know, do not live life feeling bad for things that have happened in your life. Which is essentially what it all boils down to, but there is more to it than just that: life is a learning process...from learning how to walk, to learning how to find happiness in whatever you do and whatever comes your way. Now, everything that comes your way, everything you experience will not always be enjoyable; life will test you, and sometimes you fail at those tests. We're human, we make mistakes. To live in regret about those bad mistakes you've made, those bad experiences you've had, is to trap yourself in a place where you constantly think that nothing good came out of it..."Oh I wish I would have done something different", "Why was I so stupid". When you do that, you cheat yourself out of one of the greatest things life has to offer: the chance to learn from your mistakes, and in turn be thankful for those mistakes, making you a smarter and wiser person than you were before. So now when someone tells me to live with no regrets, i finally can understand what they mean: Without regret, you become a better, wiser person.

Always hold on to the relationships that make an impact on your life...no matter what road they take...it probably taught you something: like how to love and be loved, loyalty, understanding, and courage to name a few. You also made a connection with someone else that is unique- one that finds its true form only between you two. Never lose that person.

The older you get, the more you appreciate and realize just how much your parents do for you. Make sure you show your mom how much you appreciate her these next two weeks :)
