AT FIRST, PIERROT isn't quite sure how to properly feel about the information that was given to him. So he wasn't even an intended purchase... This guy blew god knows how much money on him just to save him? Was he stupid? Did he think he'd thank him and consider him his saviour or something? No, no... Things weren't adding up. If that was the case, wouldn't he have some sort of hero complex going on or something? Even then, wasn't this a better outcome than becoming that other person's pet who apparently wanted to hurt him?
ONCE HE OUTLIVES this human, then he'll just move on to the next and then the next and then the next and then the next- Why should he care that this time it's different? He shouldn't. He doesn't. Nothing rings inside this hollow cavity that once housed his heart.
PIERROT SLOWLY GETS to his feet and sets his mask down in the spot where he was just sitting. He turns to Aurelius, looking as if he wants to say something but decides against it, only to blurt it out anyway. "Você é um idiota." He takes in a quick inhale and pauses. Was there something else he wanted to say? "I'm going... to make us dinner." There, that is all. No translation for you. Pierrot turns sharply and makes his way towards the kitchen, muttering some more Portuguese under his breath.
WHEN HE ARRIVES in the kitchen, he doesn't even know what to make. What to make... What to make... Maybe he should check the fridge and cabinets to get an idea. He begins by rummaging through the fridge, collecting some butter and cheese. Next, he needs... Bread. Pierrot glances toward the cabinet because bread is usually stored there, but something seems off, or rather, something smells off. He slooooowly reaches for the handle and yanks it open. Lo and behold, there sat his friend Harlequin, happily but quietly chewing on a snack. A series of glances is exchanged before Pierrot closes the door and attempts to leave to let his owner know they have an uninvited guest, but Harlequin wiggles his way out and tackles his friend.
"PIERROOOOOOT! WHY WERE you leaving me? It was dark in there, and you know I don't like the-" Pierrot shoves a hand over Harlequin's mouth and asks through gritted teeth, "What. Are. You. Doing. Here?" Harlequin attempts to speak, but Pierrot immediately shushes him. "No, no, no, no- Why are you answering that? I didn't want an actual answer. I... You need to leave. If my owner finds out you're here, who will get in trouble?" Harlequin shrugs. "Don'tyouplayfuckingstupidwithmerightnowIswearto- Get out or else I will get in trouble, okay? We can meet some other time, maybe once I've explained you to him, but you sneaking in here is NOT making a good impression. So shoo. Buh-bye." Pierrot drops his hand, revealing a small frown on the other monster's face. Oh no...
"...DOES THAT MEAN I don't even get a hug goodbye or anything?" Harlequin sniffs, almost on the verge of tears, "You're so mean sometimes, you know that. I came all this way just to see how you're doing and-and-and you're mean to me."
"HARLEQUIN... NO. I'M not being mean to you. Being mean to you would be this-" Pierrot picks up the other monster in his arms and tries to find the nearest place he can chuck him out of. Would a window work? Yeah. Sure. They're not on the second story or anything like that, are they? Harlequin will be fine. He glances towards the nearby window and opens it, being careful with the other monster as he tries to lower him through it, but he's refusing to let go. "Hug me first.... Please? And then I'll go, I promise."
