trying out some ideas for a coverpage

trying my hand at more coloring, and using space... not really, i just draw what comes to mind and i felt this looked right. i dont know what im doing.

still work in progress, but ill propably forget to polish it more. everything is a work in progress constantly, until it isnt anymore. as long as this isnt garbage then i think this is ok.

Making a very long story about a foreign power giving specific lowlander clans access to industrialization in order to use the local populace as cheap labor. The lowlanders kill their way up the mountain, and install the foreigners "modern" social order.

Patriarchs build their legacy, and the heirs fight over the inheritance. It's easy to take to progress for the one's already on top, but many chafe against The New Way. What role do women have? How do those who have no place in this new system survive?

tldr: Its about vikings playing victorians.
