I can honestly say, I’ve never had such a homesick feeling over a series as I have The Land. It’s s good thing though, to find a book that makes you feel limitless and can paint a fantasy world that helps you work through your own troubles IRL. • Through The Land series, I’ve laughed, cried, felt the love between characters and have gotten so mad at some of the bone head decisions that my favorite character has made... but through it all, these books have awakened something in me. Happy Sunday, everyone! I had the most relaxing bath while watching some Futurma. Let's face it, I like baths because I don't have to get my hair wet, but they can be really boring. I usually bring my iPad in the bathroom and watch a show while I bathe. Guaranteed to stay in the water for 20 minutes lol! ___ Bath bomb: @lushcosmetics , Fizzbanger ▪️Starts off smelling like apples, morphs to cinnamon and settles into a spicy toffee scent. It's yellow, with some surprise blue. ___ Bath salts: Tabino Yado Onsen Bath Salts, Kusatso ▪️Yuzu scented, citrusy smell. I bought these in Little Tokyo in LA. You can also find them online. I saw some of my favorite kbeauty IGers use them, and wanted to give it a try. It's a home run in the bath department for me. ___ Mask: TonyMoly(@tonymoly.us_official) x Pokémon Collaboration edition, Brightening Grapefruit ▪️So tough to refuse that cute packaging. This product uses grapefruit extracts to brighten the skin (like most Vitamin C products do). The mask smells nice and has a clear serum. First, I'd like to thank @0.8l_usa for giving me the opportunity to be a beauty editor for this product. It's always an honor to provide other consumers with my experience and honest feedback on skincare products. This was the mask I used last night. ___ Gram BanBan Double Mask Multi masking has grown in popularity over the last year. 2 part Mask: T zone and U Zone ___ The T zone piece focuses on reducing the size of large pores, zapping out excess sebum and removing any impurities or blackheads. U zone piece is supposed to help moisturize and hydrate the dryer areas of our skin. ___ As always, before applying a mask-- wash your face. The mask needs to stay on for 10-20 minutes. The top portion completely dried into my skin (see video for removal). It acted like a pore cleaning nose strip, but it was much gentler while removing. The strip helped to remove some dead skin. The bottom (U zone) was moisturizing and it absorbed quickly into my skin (must have been thirsty). The essence was a yellow creamy consistency, not sticky. After removing both masks, I massage the remaining essence into my face. ___ I followed up with my typical routine skincare products. This morning, my skin was glowing, plump and impurity free. ___ This mask is basically a win. I'll be using this again. Thanks @0.8l_usa and @1960ny for sending me this Carsule CC Cream. This is a gel moisturizer that helps with anti aging and color correctiveness. Contains Adenosine and Niacinamide. I've found this on Amazon for about $33. ___ Packaging: This isn't a package type that I am immediately drawn to. Although, since I've been using this, the artwork has grown on me. I don't like products in jars-- you have to use your finger or something to scoop is out. Increasing chances of contamination or getting dirt/dust inside the jar. ___ Smells like skincare products to me. Soapy. The texture is a jelly/liquid consistency with small peach colored beads. The beads contains the color correction. Apply pressure in circular motions to crush the beads and mix the color with the gel. A little goes a long way. This stuff takes forever to blend and absorb. Using a makeup sponge helped me blend the product so it didn't leave streaks or heavy spots. ___ I apply this after my last skincare step of the morning (before makeup). This is the only shade of the product I can find. The coverage is light and works with my skin tone right now. It won't work for me mid-summer. ___ I've enjoyed using this and will continue use until it's empty. Happy #mondaymotivation! @yogastudioapp isn't the same with my tripod 🐼🐼🐻 running all around. I can flow on the go with this app-- it's awesome. I knocked out 10 minutes of Intermediate Strength this morning for a quick fix. 10-15 minutes every morning helps my back and neck loosen, it also gives me a boost of energy. ___ Time for some Bible study, @numiorganictea and pineapples 🍍 . ___ What's your morning routine? ___ “I love the LORD because he hears my voice and my prayer for mercy.
