These tweets weren't, as they appeared, the inexplicable weirdness of people having a spat in public. Grimes probably knew he was basically subtweeting to millions about his 16 year old daughter and in this context "I know this isn't your heart" takes on a different hue. Musk's entire anti trans and anti woke crusade began here, triggered by his daughter, who he sex selected to be male, requiring his permission to transition. It's really, honestly quite tragic to imagine how she must have felt at the time...

So I am unemployed once again and that last paycheque did not go anywhere near as far as I needed it to...

Val and I are both job hunting still/again, but we have no phones and Telus seems to keep adding to the bill despite our service being disconnected as that last email I got brought what I needed to pay to reconnect service up to just under $900.

If people can help us reconnect our phones, it would make the job hunt so much easier...

So, like, we're not going to get enough for this phone bill in time, especially now that it's just shy of $1100. Thank you to everyone who has shared and donated.

We are still two unemployed trans women who need help with other necessities, like groceries, gas, meds and other utilities, so if you are able to continue helping us with that while we continue to job hunt, that would be literally life saving 🙏💜🙏

For the meds, we need about $150-ish. And for groceries, probably another $150. Plus, the utitilities bill arrived and it's just under $300.

We've gotten pay-as-you-go phone plans that will need to be topped up soon, that's another $60. Plus, need gas for the car.

If anybody can help with keeping two unemployed trans women afloat while we job hunt in this absolutely shitty job market, you would be lifesavers.

An ICE officer can, and in all likelihood will at some point soon, drag an unarmed person out of their car, throw them on the pavement, and shoot them in the back of the head execution style, and Conservatives will still defend.

They'll invent an alternate reality where the person was somehow a threat, they'll dig through their past and use a misdemeanor they committed 10 years ago as proof that they were a violent thug deserving of death, they'll resort to whataboutism – claiming that it's ok for ICE to murder people in cold blood because some 16 year old Twitter communists made fun of Charlie Kirk when he died, they will invent any excuse to justify the simple fact that they want to see people who are different than them suffer.

Conservative media has spent the last 10 years manufacturing a following of sadists, who's problems they blame entirely on the left and on minority groups. They've sparked a delusional psychosis in tens, possibly hundreds of millions of people and only hide behind these excuses because public murder is still not socially acceptable…yet. I have a feeling it will be soon, though
