I love it desperately and reallyyyy want to make art of this esp dusty bc it was mentioned that maybe he wears like a rat mask or rat trinkets despite not being one. what exactly is he tho?? And what do you think would be a good design for him? No p I’m just desperate to make art of this

I’ve had some thinking about them, and I’m kind of tempted to make Dusty a Foxfolk like what one of my moots suggested. I could also make angst of him not knowing he was abandoned and Vulpin telling him that he was born into the Mudlarks that way ;)

So yeah, probably foxfolk for Dusty. For Marius (Cheeky) and Sunny (Maureen) I would just keep them the same as their og’s (hobgoblin and elf) and then I’m still not 100% sure on what Ada (Pete) is gonna be. I’m kinda leaning towards changeling for some reason so you can always go with that for now! :))

I like the thought of a mixture between the Carlos adjacent one and the holy one!! Cus I think he’d want to keep his mementos to Carlos but not want to get caught by Vulpin or other higher Mudlarks wearing things that look too similar to him once he figures out they twisted Carlos’ image :))

Also for colours - I was considering maybe like an amber fox, cus they have the sandy colouring that Carlos’ fur kinda had :]

Okay I was thinking about a canon divergence/au where we take the Mudlark belief, that all souls are returned to the Flow after death and are then reincarnated, and apply it to the Lock Stock gang.

“But Pete doesn’t have a soul!” I hear you say. Well fuck you because I’m saying the Black Tea basically became the soul of Pete, and before it could completely destroy itself part of it was ‘returned’ to the Flow as Pete’s soul.

So imagine that it’s years after the four died. Donlon is at war. No one is able to enter or leave the city, those in power fearful that any gang member who tries to leave will attempt to spread the war to neighbouring cities and counties.

Then, almost by divine intervention, four people crash into each other whilst rushing around the alleys of Donlon.

They stare at each other, something streaking through the very core of their beings. Recognition? Relief? Reunion? Before they all instinctively draw their respective weapons/magic, ready to fight for survival like they’ve been taught to all their lives.

Yeah so yada yada yay kind-of friends and they all somehow find themselves in the Donlon underground and see the visions that the original four saw.
