I know that the people who need to hear this won't hear this, but I only block people for being annoying. That's my only qualification I block people by. If I find you annoying I'm blocking you, and if I don't, I don't. And before you ask, yeah I'll block terfs and nazis on sight, but that is 100% consistent with my "only for being annoying" -rule, because they are, by default and quintessentially, annoying.
