How it's going
Cutting bricks for the garage. Still way more tedious than I thought it would be
Different jaw, different neck joint
Has anyone ever seen outer butt joints? I've only seen ones inside the torso. I never finished my previous joints, but i want to try
the worst person you know thinks they're super empathetic. the kindest person you know thinks they're fucked up and evil
Not only did mama raise a quitter, but she also raised a procrastinator, people-pleaser, doormat, coward, and liar, and you can’t put a price on that
Sorry for a horrible pic.
I'm thinking of completely different joints, shoulder on top of the torso instead of inside of it, half the neck attached to the head.
Her ears keep falling off, but her hand slowly moves from a mitten to an actual hand.
Also I'm changing her jawline, too triangular, not what I was going for, and she had lip injections because I like bodmods. I would say she also had a boob job but this is not the kind of bodmod I fancy. I just feel less dysphoric lately and don't feel the urge to sculpt as small breasts as possible
She has some sketchy ears now and less joints in her torso
I don't have time for tumblr discourse they're calling the very hungry caterpillar degenerate art over on twitter
good art is when something looks like real life, the more real it looks the more better the art. abstracted figures give my trad children nightmares, one time they were exposed to cubism and couldn't go outside for a week
I'm thinking of Varya as a carpenter and vocalist in an emocore band and Ksenia as an elementary school teacher and amateur seamstress. I don't sketch them a lot lately but Varya is the doll I'm making. Furniture and wall painting etc. is all made by her.
They're around 38 years right now and are regular but very talented employees. I don't want my characters to be overly, unrealistically successful people, but given their history both of their professions are quite (gender) non-conforming, which is a great personal success. Both been through severe depression, but leading a very happy life together.
Light blue is the inside of the walls, medium grey is the base, the shiny parts are the doors
What if molded hair on a realistic looking doll????
Paint on the bus stop looks kinda decent now
my mic is terrible I'm so sorry
