this is an appreciation post for some of the tsbs voice actors!!

davis - their range and fluidity is extremely impressive. there's something amazing about being able to play so many characters and have all of them feel like distinct, well-rounded *people*. i'm also frequently impressed by how smoothly they can switch between voices, especially as the mimic! such care and attention to detail, and i have to call out ruin in particular for being a stunning performance.

reed - it's sometimes hard to remember that moon, lunar, and the creator are all played by the same va. they're all so incredibly distinct. their performance as the creator deserves some recognition i think - it takes some skill to make a character inspire that much hatred. not to mention they're hilarious.

kat - their acting as earth has nearly brought me to tears on many occasions. also, it has to be said that their writing for earth is incredible. beautiful. heart-wrenching. they've created one of the most realistic and heartfelt characters i've seen in a long time.

matt - i'm so impressed by the mimic and the way matt and davis flow through different voices. it's incredibly cool and i can't remember ever seeing anything like that done before, especially in one take like i'm assuming they record it. imo the speed of matt's improvement in skill over the past year+ is almost more impressive than the voice acting itself. i also literally fall more in love with puppet every time she's on screen.

Them making fun of Starry pissed me tf off. Like I want them put in the ground. Gone. I cannot believe Dark Sun has these kinds of kids here. If their parents are Sun variants they should be better.

Not only that but they fucking backhanded themselves with the round face thing. THEY ARE LITERAL CIRCLES. Dazzle is ten times more adorable anyway. She's also eight, so she will obviously look "baby" or whatever. That means she's adorable.

Based off what I've seen, Starry might have some sort of speech impediment. (1:15). I know that those kids pissed off me and half the fans. Where is the Starry Support Squad?? HUH?
