December 28th, 1981 The streets of London
The cold wind was blowing, his nose turning red despite his best efforts to stay warm. It didn’t matter, however, since soon he would find himself in the comfort that the Leaky Cauldron had to offer.- After a long day treating young kids from colds, all Benjy wanted to do was relax for a while, maybe even allow himself to drink something, take a break from the stress or at least try to do so.
He walked faster as snowflakes started falling from the sky, ready to cover everything in a fresh white sheet of cold snow. It was in his attempt to reach the warmth of the pub that Benjy crashed against someone, slipped on the icy path and fell down, spraining his wrist.
“Mierda…” He mumbled to himself, looking at his wounded hand before he looked at the person he had crashed against. “I’m so very sorry. Should’ve been looking where I was going.” He took out his wand and with a swift flick, he fixed his wrist and a small smile appeared on his lips. “There, good as new. You didn’t get injured, did you?”
Fuck.
Roxanne was having literally no luck this winter, especially with how icy it was. Her head was kept down to shield herself from the wind as much as possible, the chill from it making her cheeks hurt and eyes water. Frankly, she just wanted to get home, put her presents away, and relax under the blankets with some hot chocolate. That sounded nice.
Then she bumped into someone, slipped, and found her presents scattered along the London streets. So yes, fuck.
She rubbed her head and slowly sat up, moving around on her knees to gather her dropped packages before standing and facing the man she had ran into. The sprained wrist he had was taken care of it seemed, but it still made her wince. “Merlin, I’m sorry too. Guess we both could have been looking.” She shook her head at his question and rubbed her head. “Nothing that can’t be taken care of. You’re alright?”
