Minecraft Ask Blog Community Halloween Event 2022!!
Ladies, Gentlemen and Gentlethems!!
This is an official announcement for the Halloween Event for the Minecraft Ask Blog Community, for 2022!!
We will be holding a special event throughout the entirety of the October for people with ask blogs to run their blogs in a Halloween Theme, and to encourage more group activity and interaction!!
However, we also have some prompts and ideas that will be focused on in a weekly manner throughout the month as well, to keep the Halloween spirit up and going!
If you wish to participate with the event, we encourage you to reblog this post, sharing it further within the community AND out of it!! And also to follow the blog to keep track of any further announcements and ideas that may come in the future as well!!
Below, you will find some prompts and a general idea for what’s to be presented and done in the month of October!! Whenever you do something Halloween themed, remember to tag us in the post and to put #MinecraftHalloween2022 in the tags so we can find them and reblog them to the blog!!
- Costume Party!
Throughout the course of the month, you’re welcome to put your characters in costumes! It can be in-universe OR out of it, from other fandoms! Remember to keep it PG13 as the Ask Blog Community has all sorts of folks!
- Trick Or Treat!
Throughout the course of the month, you’re encouraged to send your characters to other ask blogs participating within the event for Tricks or Treats! Have your characters interact with other blogs! But remember, folks! Not every ask blog will be participating in the event!
- Halloween Themed Ask Blogs!
Throughout the course of the month, you’re encouraged to spruce up your ask blog in a Halloween Theme! This one is not a necessity as it can mess up people’s blogs completely, so it’s absolutely optional!
(As Halloween is officially in the last days of October, the weeks will be on a Thursday to Wednesday rotation!)
- Week 1 (Oct 4th to 10th)
Pumpkin Carving Designs!
For the first week, you’ll be sending in your own designs for spooky pumpkins! The pumpkins you make might get featured in the final Group Collaboration Image!
- Week 2 (Oct 11th to 17th)
Halloween Party Games!
For week 2, draw your characters doing fun party activities at a Halloween Party! From “Pin the tail on the donkey” and “Bobbing for apples”, to “Hide and Seek” and “Scary pranks”, your characters are to just have fun!
- Week 3 (Oct 18th to 24th)
Headless Horseman’s Scare-Fest!
For week 3, the Headless Horseman will be scaring partygoers and costumed folk with “Draw The Squad” prompts for single AND multiple characters! The prompts will be posted before the 18th so people can post their drawings on the 18th at the earliest!
- Week 4 (Oct 25th to 31st)
Halloween Celebration Group Collab!
For the final week, you’re to send your character to appear in a group line up of participants within the event hosted by the blog! More details for this will come before the final week!
