going for a walk, she brought rose along, her cavalier king charles spaniel. she was enjoying the weather tonight and was taking in the scenery, but was soon interrupted when she felt rose’s leash being tugged. glancing back at the small dog, she realized rose was rushing toward others and merrie couldn’t help, but smile at that. following behind rose, she gave the person a small smile before saying, “sorry about that. rose gets excited when meeting new people.”
theo had decided to take a walk that night so he could get some exercise and listen to the tiny meat gang podcast. he found those dudes pretty funny, but he didn’t have the attention span to listen to podcasts unless he was doing something else, like walking. he walked along, chuckling at a joke, when a dog rushed at him and started nosing at his jeans. “hey little guy,” he said, bending down to pet the dog. he looked up at his owner. “hey, it’s totally cool. i love dogs.” he rubbed between the dog’s ears one more time before standing up. “i’m theo, by the way. ‘sup?”

he was a foster kid from basically birth to age 16
a friend’s family took him in when he was 16 and he ended up calling them his forever home, he moved with them to brunswick, maine when he was 18 and lived there for a few years, going to community college. he just moved to holiday ab half a year ago and HERE’S WHY
the friend whose family he moved in with, leo, was actually his bf
they dated from age 16-19 and then they had a bad breakup bc leo cheated
but leo’s parents would NOT have liked it if they were together so they never told them, so they had to act like nothing was wrong after having a bad breakup like that. he would’ve moved out but they were paying his way through college and were basically his family now so he stayed untll he graduated and then saved up doing some odd jobs for awhile
leo was the first love of his life and it devastated him when he cheated on him
leo basically used and manipulated him and convinced him that it was his fault leo cheated on him which kinda fucked him up for awhile
he’s never even kissed another boy besides leo
he got a degree from a junior college in computer programming, but he’s not rly the best at adulting so he’ls working as a bartender rn while he tries to figure out what tf he wants to do or how he’s gonna do it
