Chris was down to his last cigarette, and as he soon came to find out upon attempting to light it, was also now out of lighter fluid. "Oh, for bollock's sake." Eyes scanning around the park, he approached the first person he saw, a polite smile on his face. "'Scuse me mate, 'you got a lighter on you by any chance? I'm gaggin' for a cig and my clipper's just ran out."

Theo was getting some fresh air between patients, and that meant inhaling as much nicotine as humanly possibly within a fifteen-minute period. But she made it look easy, and she'd nearly finished her cigarette when a younger man approached. In a way, he kind of reminded her of Luke, so she took pity and nodded, outstretching her hand that clutched the lighter. It was only then that she noticed she'd taken off her gloves to have her break, but by then, it was far too late.

Just from the slightest touch of their fingers, Theo was overtaken by a mix of complicated emotions. There were touches of hope, a lightheartedness to him, but there was a much heavier sense of depression, loneliness and abandonment. Flashes of an older woman who shared his eyes. "Fuck," she muttered, pulling back quickly, as if she'd been burnt. "Uh, you can keep that one. All yours."
