Artist Statement

Gethsemane Herron believes that views art as a garden; that is, she believes that art should have the ability to nourish the viewer, the creator and the stranger. Gethsemane does this through poetry, vocalizations, dance and playwriting. She hopes her garden aids in clearing the air for those who come after and gives people something to look forward to after winter.
