Signalis totally blew me away

I was expecting it to be scary, I was expecting it to be strange, messy and gorgeous, but I wasn't expecting it to be sweet, or lefty propaganda, but I CERTAINLY had no idea that it was (and would render me, in turn) so wholly, sapphically lovesick.

There's so much about this game that feels like a tragic, queer story as it took me through deep, dogged longing to feeling the strain of a world created against me and out of my control, to moments of elation to see my character loving richly and being loved in return and, finally how that love resolves in light of your actions.
