Sweeter than Candy.
theonetruekingofnarnia:
“Caspian,” He greets in return, dropping into a bow. Even with Aslan being the True King. Caspian was still royalty and deserved the same treatment, even from Aslan. He returns to his full height, offering a warm smile towards the Telmarian. Slowly and subtly, the magic is beginning to settle around Aslan.
For the most part, Caspian has gotten used to the respect — Though it still threw him off now and again when Aslan did it. The smile is still on his face as he watches the Lion. “How are you?” He asks softly, tongue running along his lower lip.
Aslan is beginning to get this uncontrollable urge, to want to taste Caspian. He watches that tongue slide and moistens his lower lip, and he can’t help but want to do the same with his own. There’s a light shudder that rolls down his back, his voice husky. “Well, and you?”
Sweeter than Candy.

It was hedging on Late Spring in Narnia, everything was in bloom. He was dressed in lighter robes of his regal status and the color always seemed to suit him. He’s standing just beyond the entrance to the Private Garden, hands clasped behind his back – a smile on his face as he hears Caspian approach.
Caspian can’t stop the smile that works across his face when he catches sight of the True King. He runs a hand through his hair, pushing some of it out of his face as he stops in front of the Lion. “Aslan,” He greets warmly.

Caspian always felt a pull to Aslan — What with how close to one another they were. But today it seemed moreso than usual. He shifted his weight slightly, wetting his lower lip. Dismissing himself from the Hall, he meandered outside to the Private Garden he and Aslan often spent time in.

Heading off in about ten minutes. Replies will come when I'm back.

The Telmarine-turned-Narnian didn’t realize quite how much he’d truly ached to be near Aslan until he had the Lion in his arms. Caspian turned his head slightly, letting his nose brush up along the True King’s jaw in a chaste and rather tender motion.
His fingers clenched a little tighter – a low and shaky breath escapes the True King. A tremble wrenches down his spine. “Caspian…” It’s a tender whisper past his lips, aching with the need to have the young King even closer. That deep ache stirring even more sharply as he remains in Caspian’s arms.

The young King let out a breath that he hadn’t been aware he was holding, unable to stop the smile that worked across his face. He wrapped his arms around Aslan’s frame in return — Tucking his nose in against the Lion’s shoulder as his fingers curled gently into the shirt that the True King wore.
Eyes fluttering shut, he pressed his own head into Caspian’s shoulder – letting out a soft breath and taking in the scent that had long become “home” to the True King. His fingers flexed and clenched slightly against Caspian’s frame. He really didn’t need to say how much he missed the younger King, it should be obvious by this action alone.
Random fact. Ben Barnes is 6'1". Kit Harington is 5'10".

Caspian had always worn his emotions on his sleeve, though in his time of being King — He’d become better at not only controlling them, but not letting people read him as easily. But with Aslan, he was almost always stripped raw — Unable to hide himself from the True King, not that he’d want to.
“I’ve missed you, as well.”
Time seemed to almost stop between his words and then Caspian’s – as if he was waiting on baited breath to hear something, anything from the young King. Even if – worst of the worst – Caspian no longer felt as he once did about Aslan. While that would sting something fierce, it would at least be a response. Though it would be evident that it would upset Aslan greatly if those words passed Caspian’s lips. He moves once more, his arms wrapping around the young King and pulling him into a long-needed hug.
I HAVE NO WORDS. I JUST. NONE.

A softer sort of smile worked across the young King’s face, as he folded his hands behind his back. Caspian’s expression was softer than what it usually as he watched the Great Lion. There was still a slight ache in his chest, if only because of how long it’d been since he’d last laid eyes upon Aslan.
“It’s quite a pleasure to see you. And a surprise, I must say.”
Aslan was feeling a similar ache in his own chest – he’d always missed Caspian – but now that he was face-to-face with the young King, it was that much worse. It took a sharp pivot and was making it difficult for the True King to breathe. He took a moment, taking in a long breath before he stepped closer, only by a couple of pads.
“I have missed you greatly.”

Caspian often found himself out in the spacious Gardens the last few weeks — Enjoying the weather. It allowed his mind to wander, out where it was quiet and he could, at least for the moment, not worry about the troubles of being a King. The wind changed, and Caspian blinked.
There was another presence, one that he knew almost immediately. He turned, that deep almost black gaze of his finding and focusing on the grand Lion eased so regally upon the boulder. There was an ache in his chest, though the younger King smiled gently — Hair pushed into his face by the wind as he moved among the roses toward Aslan, absently grabbing one.
“Hello, Aslan,” He murmured lightly, dipping his head toward the True King.
Aslan’s long tail flickered back and forth, the warm sun beaming down on his golden fur. It made him look like liquid gold as he moved across the boulder. A few animals had taken notice of him and of course, paid their respects. To which he offered that lion smile and said nothing, but they knew the motions were appreciated. Then his eyes fall to Caspian once more as he approached. There was a pleased rumble from his chest, before he dipped out of sight.
When the Great Lion reappears after a time, he was standing there in his human form – sweeping into a bow of his own, he stood straight once more with a smile across those features of his.
“Hello Caspian.”
