Most Christians think they care about the poor and care about helping the poor.
Do you really?
Most people picture the poor as someone who is kind, humble, and grateful for help, really similar to themselves, just down on their luck trying to feed their families.
What about the smelly poor? The poor who you offer to carry their bag and your arm becomes engulfed in bugs? The rude poor? The poor that believes inĀ ābackwardsā things? Poor who have voted for someone you despise? The drug-addicted, belligerent poor? The poor who turn to crime? The poor who may yell obscenities at you as you try to help them and love them? If you do not wish to serve āthoseā poor, your love for the poor is conditional. And thatās something you need to pray about.
Ed Sheeran sings āOh l, Oh l, Oh l, Oh l, lām in love with the Shape of Youā. The letter U in binary is 01010101
But seriously.. how cool is prayer? You get to speak to your best friend about your thoughts, feelings, your desires, about your appreciation for Him WHENEVER you want, and when the sighs become too deep or the silence creeps in, He already knows your unspoken words. He has you covered. He understands without you needing to pry out a single syllable.. Lay down, kick your feet up, take your time, make conversation & laugh with Him, because I believe our God has humor, and heāll laugh back. How amazing is this.. look how much of a gift, endless prayer truly is.

How to be Yourself
1. First, and most important, see yourself as a valuable, likeable and worthwhile person ā someone who is worth knowing and loving. If you find that hard, then you are likely believing lies about yourself. (and that may be something you want to explore, and work through with, a counsellor.)
2. Recognise that your thoughts, ideas, views and beliefs are as important as anybody elseās. You are your own person. You are not just a clone of somebody else. What you think is worth hearing ā and you donāt have to apologise or change your views in order to please, or be acceptable to, others.
3. Stay away from people who are trying to change you, or who want you to think and act as they do. Donāt allow yourself and your personality to be swamped or dominated by others.
4. Surround with people who encourage you to be yourself, awho ccept you as you are, and who bring out the best in you.
5. Resist the urge to emulate or copy people you admire. At the end of the day each of us is unique. The world is a richer place by you expressing who you are in your own way.
6. Donāt compare yourself with others. We each have different experiences, and are evolving in our own way, at our own pace. Thereās no one formula or recipe for becoming or being. Trust your intuition, and follow your own path.
āChoose to love yourself; choose to respect yourself; and promise with all your heart and soul that you will never leave you.ā

Never forget that Jesus washed Judasās feet as well.
Something a wonderful preacher pointed out to me is that when Jesus told His disciples one of them would betray Him, a truth is revealed for humanity in the face of Christ and a truth is revealed about Christ in the face of humanity.
The first is that they all asked, āIs it I?ā, we know because of the Scripture that eleven of them truly loved Jesus yet they still asked the question. In that moment each of them knew (except one) that even though they loved Jesus deeply, they were wicked to their core and full of sin - Jesus had shown them just how sinful humanity was, including them.
The second, perhaps the most beautiful and hope-giving truth, is that none of them could discern who Jesus meant because He didnāt treat any one of them the way they deserved; not even Judas. They didnāt all immediately look at Judas thinking āOh well, thatās obvious!ā They had no clue who it was because Jesus treated them all with grace and mercy, that none of them especially Judas, deserved.
Not only does our Lord show us the reality of our desperate need to be saved by a Holy Savior, He also shows us the unending mercy and kindness of a God who would pay the ultimate price to save His own enemies.
We serve an amazing God.
The First Night
I really like Cliff, the dad of little Cove in Our Life. Heās trying his best in some pretty crappy circumstances and he loves his son more than anything. So I couldnāt help but feel that he really must have been panicking when Cove disappears on that first night in game.
Heās a good guy, tries his best, owns up to his mistakes, is a kind neighbor and loves his son~! Cliff needs more love~!
Cliff and Cove Holden are from the english Visual Novel, Our Life: Beginning and Always, from @gb-patch~ Give it a peek if you think youād be interested~!
POV: Youāre a new kid in town and the cool kids are checking your vibes.
Also, I like to imagine he got the miku shirt as a very bad b-day gift āŗļøāŗļøāŗļø
