I have no idea how this site/app works, but I'm bored to death and looking for people to talk to. But, fair warning, I rarely have this amount of social energy.

Uhhh ig here's some things;

My name is pronounced The-ore-ēs (hence the accent in the spelling on my blog). If you struggle to say it and say it like "Dolores," I'd rather you call me Vinyl or smth. And I use he/him pronouns.

I'm a newfound hellenistic pagan, which means I believe in ancient Greek dieties and cherish the natural world around me spiritually. Although, I'm an ex-evangilist who was very fixated on scripture during my bible thumping days as a kid, so I know my stuff there too. Unfortunately.

I'm gay, but then again, I'm here, so that might be a given from what I've heard. But I'm also asexual. So asexual, in fact, that I make single celled organisms sob with jealousy at my mere presence.

I'm also autistic and very into "older" cartoons like Treasure Planet and Voltron: Defender of the Universe and Voltron: Legendary Defender (yes, I'm devastated), but I also like Night At The Museum, Bluey (don't judge me, it's good), Steven Universe, Aristotle and Dante Discover The Secrets of the Universe (the book and the movie), and South Park.

Despite that last one, I'm not transphobic or homophobic or racist or sexist or like- any of that flaming garbage. So you're safe with me. Unless you are that shit, then shoo fly, shoo.

I'm also not anti-furry, or therian, or anything considered cringe that isn't generally problematic in any way. I'm pretty chill with most everything.

I have a few special interests, my most prominent ones being constellations, stars, and other celestial bodies. And yeah! That's about it. Sorry for the introductory novel. ✌️

Dude, finding out that half of my problems was actually just hypothyroidism and that my genetic-childhood concoction (autism + POTS - GAD + PTSD) just makes it worse and when my thyroid worsens, it worsens the symptoms of those things, which worsens my thyroid, which continues to worsen those thing and it just.

Damn.

At least I have another piece to the puzzle, though. Maybe I'll finally start seeing physical health improvement and be able to dedicate more energy to my passion projects :]

Trying to write the beginning dialog for a game I'm hoping to make while being exhausted, I can't stop thinking it looks like it was written by a dumbass AI.

I hate AI more and more with every passing day, man. Instead of feeling cringe when expressing myself creatively, which happens a lot, I straight up feel inhuman rn. This is infinitely worse than any other form of shame I've ever felt when developing something. I shouldn't have to be worried people will think a project I'm putting my soul into is the aluminum tainted fuckslop that AI generates because nobody can use their fucking brains anymore.

Hot take; Raising Canes are drastically overrated.

I just had it for the first time in a while, a couple years or so, and while that first time was decent, this was awful.

The chicken strips are like Golden Chick's chicken strips but if they were completely unseasoned and expelled 10x the grease. The fries get cold (and soggy somehow??) in literal seconds, not even in a hyperbolic way. Actual seconds. The toast was also soggy somehow and scrunched to oblivion, like someone straight up squeezed it in their hand. And my mom got two containers of the Canes sauce for my dad, and though I hate condiments (autistic thing) this is usually fine because they're in a container.

But nope, Canes IMMENSELY overfilled the containers, getting it all over the fries dipped in the artic ocean and hulk smashed bread. Thankfully, and surprisingly, only a little bit got on the chicken and I was able rip those pieces off. So the entire meal didn't go to waste, just over half of it. ¬_¬

I've genuinely gotten a better meal at fucking McDonald's (using this as an example because McDonald's is known for being the equivalent to vomit on a bun. I'm still boycotting dw.) and it wouldn't have been 10 dollars. 10 dollars, and all I could eat were three cold, unseasoned, more greasy Nova Online's hairline, chicken strips.

Anyway, my hatred for Canes has significantly grown now, and I regret ever considering it to be a decent restaurant in the past. I've never been /this/ pissed over a fast food meal 😭 10 fuckin bucks for this shit, are you kidding me?

Giving yourself 2 fucking seconds to think before you comment on someone's behavior, appearance, or identity? You are literally the fucking problem and it's up to you and you alone to address your own biases and privilege. It's nobody's responsibility to teach you how to be a good person. You are not owed sugar-coated step-by-step "how to love people for who they are" instructions. If you say something mildly offensive or mindlessly make a micro aggression you didn't realize was a bad thing, you're not being burned on a fucking stake for being called out on it. Learn from it, pick yourself up, and move on like a better, healthy fucking adult.

There is no understandable and rational reason an adult would need their hand held through being open-minded. Children and teenagers, I understand. They're still learning, they haven't had much time or usually even resources to deconstruct what they've internalized as a child. But the people leaving these comments range from 30 year olds to fucking 60 year olds.

You have a fully developed mind, google at your fingertips, and have the capability to fully comprehend the consequences of your words, votes, and beliefs, and you expect people to crouch down and clap for you when you eat a fucking crayon while scribbling out the confederate flag from your facebook profile picture.

It's 3:20am, I'm thinking over all the arguments I've ever had, and y'know that "the evil trans groomers want to give your kids hormones!!" thing that transphobic people always say?

The call is coming from inside the house half the time. Everyone I've met that uses that same argument also thinks intersex people should be given treatment to present as one of the genders in societies binary at a young age, despite it being harmful for the kid 9 times out of 10, whether because of complications or because they don't fit in the binary regardless, or because they don't fit on the side of the binary their parents chose for them.

I've met more leftist, liberal, and trans people against medical gender affirming care for kids than conservatives and transphobes. So many conservatives scream that trans people are forcing your kids into surgery and hormones, but that's what they do, not trans people. It's literal reflection, they're scared of the same thing they do to intersex babies.

Personally, I think calling your kid a different name because 5 year old Scott feels she's a bit more of a Samantha, and getting her a dress so she can twirl like the princesses on TV or letting her grow her hair long so she can look like Mabel Pines, is less damaging and more loving than forcing your intersex kid to undergo surgeries, hormones, and confusion just for being born differently.

It's late, I don't know the statistics or science, but I do know that for once I agree with a consrrvative standpoint. We should ban medical gender affirming care for children, which includes forcing intersex kids into a strict box that only harms them. No trans person wants your kids on hormones, but they do want you to respect your kids and love them unconditionally.

If that's threatening to you, maybe you shouldn't be a parent.

How are serial killers so chill about doing the murders? How are they not paranoid all the time?

I'm an ordinary person, who's worse crime is probably wiping my nose on my sleeve sometimes. But I am CONSTANTLY FEELING SURVEILLED. I'm always feeling watched. It makes changing clothes really uncomfortable as someone with gymnophobia, especially in public changing rooms. Using the bathroom, even in my own home, feels supervised by something.

It's particularly annoying when I participate in any sort of hobby because I feel cringe when I'm enjoying myself. Writing my funky little sci-fi novel? I'm being watched and therefore judged. Playing Roblox even though I'm way too old for it? Something's on my back, I swear to Apollo's arrow. Drawing literally anything ever? Call me Bo Burnham the way all eyes are on me. (A bit of an Inside joke)

Seriously, how does any criminal not have constant debilitating paranoia that they were caught and feeling that they're always being watched?

What about a curse of immortality au? Sorta like Kenny from South Park. You can even but a klance twist on it and say Keith is the only one who notices/can see the scars from past deaths.

Or Hunk, and have a brotherly-based fic. There is not NEARLY enough of those. Hunk is such an underrated character. Especially if you involve Keith in the mix still because they're pretty close friends.

An extra sad thing would be if Allura or Coran are the unintentional cause of the curse somehow. I would BAWL if I found a fanfic that had Coran unintentionally harming his unoffical space nephew, Jesus Christ.

I don't know if it's wrong but sometimes to avoid being misgendered or uncomfortable transitioning-related questions I sometimes tell people that my voice's lack of depth and my height is from a birth "thing" or smth

And I never inform the "thing" is being afab. They almost ALWAYS respect it and move on. I hate lying, but it saves my ass sometimes.
