Within the Exhaust Organ, something lays sleeping…
It seems, dear traveler, you’ve discovered something quite interesting…
———⬥———
Hello! This blog run by @xladyseerx and is based on one of the three cut Organ Sleepers of Silksong, specifically because I saw someone make a character out of some of them and thought it would be cool if I did the same for another one of the three.
Beyond knowing that each of the three Organ Sleepers seem to represent three specific bosses from Silksong, we know pretty much nothing about them. Meaning, this blog will pretty much just be building and roleplaying a character based on one of the Organ Sleepers (that being the coral themed one.)
What do I mean by building? Well, I like the idea that this character not knowing anything (blank slate kind of thing) and that the personality of this character will be shaped and influenced by the asks received and the people they interact with. I’ve been wanting to do something like this as I think characters like that are super interesting.
[Note:]
This blog takes place after Silksong’s true ending. Therefore, there will probably be spoilers. I will do my best to tag every post with spoilers, though please do remind me if I miss anything.

[Rules:]
1. At the moment, I haven’t decided on pronouns or a name for this Organ Sleeper. For now, they will be going by they/them and the name shall be figured out down the line.
2. I have no schedule for this blog and shall answer asks/make posts whenever I have the time and motivation.
3. NO NSFW. I have zero interest in making and partaking in inappropriate roleplay of any kind. If such an ask/comment is sent, it will be deleted. If you repeatedly send or comment NSFW content, you will be blocked.
4. Please be respectful when commenting or sending asks. I will not tolerate rude, disrespectful, or hateful behavior. If you have a problem with me or this blog, feel free to block me and move on.
5. I may occasionally draw stuff for asks as I am an artist and I'm sure there will be certain things that are better portrayed through art. I cannot promise that an ask will have art though, so please keep that in mind.
6. I welcome interactions from other roleplay blogs.
[The Organ Sleeper paused beside one of the metal structures of the organ, leaning against it and holding onto it to avoid falling over again. They stared at the other for a long time. They took in every detail from where they stood, squinting slightly from the light.]
[The one perched on the bench before the keys just out of the silken being’s view looked at them. Then they rose and leapt down from their perch. The Organ Sleeper flinched a bit at the suddenness of that, but still held onto the metal structure beside them.]
[They didn’t run.]
[They tilted their head as the other approached. Slow and careful.]
…Wh…Who…? Who am…I?
[The silken being’s voice was unsteady and uncertain. Not exactly afraid but sounding more…inexperienced. Like they weren’t exactly used to talking.]
[There was nothing inside. Nothing but curious and confused thoughts and the three faces they’ve seen so far. The beetle and butterfly that woke them, and…]
Ph…Phantom?
[The Organ Sleeper said the name carefully, taking it in. They quietly repeated it to themself a few times. Phantom, Phantom, Phantom. They liked this name, even if it wasn’t theirs. It suited the one before them.]
[And the Exhaust Organ…the Organ Sleeper wondered why it was called that and what an “organ” was.]
I…I don’t know…what I am c…called.
[They tilted their head when Phantom looked at the floor, trying to see their face. Which was strange since they wouldn’t be able to read the emotion on Phantom’s face anyways.]
[Then Phantom said that the silken being had been here, asleep, dead, in that chamber for longer than they were here.
[An age? They didn’t know how long that was. But the way Phantom spoke made it clear it was a long, long time. And for some reason, that sent a pang through the sleeper’s chest. They didn’t understand this feeling nor why they felt it.]
[…Then Phantom said they were siblings and the feeling shifted to something more warm.]
Siblings…kin.
…We are…siblings?
[Something about the Organ Sleeper’s tone made it clear they didn’t know what that meant…but there was something about their voice sounded almost hopeful. Maybe hopeful isn’t the right…but there was something.]

[When the cup appears, the silken being stares at it for a moment before lifting it from the ground. They hold it, staring into the dark liquid for a long time.]
I…do not know what to do with this. Um…do I…?
[Perhaps to your surprise, the first thing the Organ Sleeper does lift the cup to their face and took a sip. Despite being made of silk, they were somehow able to consume liquids. Or at least this liquid.]
[When they drew the cup away, they seemed surprised. They were silent for a long time, clearly thinking.]
I…I like this. This is good. I…do not know how to describe its flavor, but it is pleasant, enjoyable. I do feel like it’s…missing something…though I do not know what.
[The one behind these words knows not if you have a physical form or merely manifest as a voice, so the one behind these words shall assume the latter until corrected.]
[Regardless, the silken being looked around for the source of your voice. When they found nothing but cobwebs and empty silk spools, they spoke, voice hesitant and confused.]
Hello?
…The musician and…the sister?
I ah…do not know who you are talking about. Or where you are…
I am…not sure how long I have been here. I do not remember anything before being awoken by that butterfly and beetle from before.
[The Organ Sleeper tilted their head at the wording of that last part, wondering what this…entity?…meant by “yet.”]
I appreciate that. I am…confused as to what you mean by “you are this place.” As in…the building we are in? That is...intriguing. I wonder how such a thing is possible…?
It is a pleasure to meet you. What is your name? What is this place called?
The…Exhaust Organ? Hm…interesting. Well, it is a pleasure to meet you. It is…admittedly strange to be conversing with a building. Though…perhaps it is normal?
I would not know. I haven’t the faintest idea of what “normal” is.
…Do you…perhaps know what exactly I am? I have learned that I am a thing made of something called “silk,” but I do not know what that is or what that means. What am I?

[All of a sudden, the world around the Organ Sleeper began to grow larger- no...they were becoming smaller. Though shrinking didn't have much of a physical feeling to it, watching the small room they were sat in suddenly start looking bigger than before was disorienting.]
[Just as suddenly as it started, the silken being stopped shrinking. They were about 8 inches tall, or roughly the size of a doll. If they were to sit and lay in a corner or on a shelf, the Organ Sleeper could easily be mistaken for one.]
O-Oh…
Oh dear.
(5/5 asks until the Organ Sleeper returns to normal size.)
