Was looking to get my PC-9821 Cs2 setup for some future game stream plans (particularly the PC-98 version of Spindizzy Worlds and Mado Monogatari 1-2-3) only to find out that it is basically not going to run anymore (at least till it is figured out what is causing it to not react). It looks like it might potentially be the power supply, but I cannot be 100% sure on that. I do have my Cx3 model for when I get to Giten Megami Tensei, so I should probably see if I can use that for my plans with stuff like ERCACHE.

It looks like the current plan is for me to get a PC-9801US for now, since it has a dual 3.5 setup then get a base 9821.

So update on this. I ended up getting an original S1 variant of the original PC-9821. Featuring a blazingly fast 20Mhz Intel 386SX and a massive 1.6Megabytes of RAM, It has the necessary SCSI ports for a external 3.5 and 5.25 in floppy drives.
