Friday @ohmwoke_meals_ was back on GG’s Back Porch so y’all know I was in line for my Jackfruit basket right?!? Let’s talk about it. . . Cooking for an event can be challenging especially when you’re making #glutenfree but Chef Sheena is a winner so you know she made it happen hunty! The fryer wasn’t with the gluten free Jackfruit that day but that didn’t stop anything. She managed to come up with what I’m calling Loaded Jack Fruit Fries. 🤯 There’s something about a chef making a scratch meal that makes my heart melt 💜. This, as is all her food, was outstanding. For something made on the fly, you would’ve thought it was on the menu. And then that WOKE SAUCE! 😵. I’m always so grateful when Chefs make an effort to accommodate someone with an allergy and each time Sheena makes sure I am taken care of. Thank you Queen for caring so much. @berryvegancupcakes made Samoas y’all!!! Gluten free Samoas and they were raw!! I’ll be at the next one for sure. (at The Cookery - An Artisanal Market)

I made falafels last night and they turned out amazing!! If you saw my IG story, the first batch completely went to mush when I tried to fry it so I ended up baking them. The baked batch was a success. @joesoatpatties provided the gluten free pita and the rest is history! We ate this again for lunch today because it was sooo good. 🤤🤗 (at Bithlo, Florida)

Cut this bad boy in half and made 🍉 juice. I haven’t started the juice cleanse yet because I’m still working out the details but I’ll keep y’all posted when I do. Just in case y’all missed my daily affirmations, here is a little one for today. I know there are some souls out there including myself who want more for their temple and are anxious to cure the dis-ease within. I’ve tried a few things to heal my gut but one and that’s fasting. I’m scared to fast because I’m already so small but hey we aren’t letting fear hinder us this year hunty so fasting it is. 😌 If any of my soul sisters have fasting(healing) suggestions drop me a comment below.
