Unrelated to anything, but if I ever have time (lol), I kind of want to make a site that's all canons.

Julian Reginald Bartholomew Armstrong III - known colloquially as JR - likes his job. Sure, maybe being a Secret Service agent isn't the world's easiest job, but JR's okay with that. Protecting the president is important. But when JR encounters an ancient statue that turns a man murderous while one the job, he finds himself suddenly transferred to South Dakota along with his fellow agent Oliver Duncan, a friendly, flirtatious man who often gets vibes about bad situations. Together, JR and Oli find themselves working for Warehouse 13, a mysterious branch of the Secret Service that hunts down historical artifacts that have become imbued with mystical properties - and they find themselves becoming friends with the odd bunch of misfits that works there.

First, there's Adam Wystan, the boys' new supervisor, who seems to have no life outside of the Warehouse. JR and Oli soon become good friends with Adam, yet they realize they know very little about his past. (They've heard rumors that Adam's choice to take a government job led to a rift with his father, but they don't want to ask.)

There's also Sadie Forrester who runs the bed and breakfast where the Warehouse agents live and who seems to always be around taking inventory and keeping the boys out of trouble. All too often, it seems as if she's more mature than all the agents combined, which unfortunately puts her in as much danger as the rest of them.

Then there's Archie Galvin, a teenage orphan who only cares about one person in the world: Adam. He uncovers the Warehouse in an attempt to track down Adam, a process that involves hacking through several firewalls. Although first flagged as a threat to Warehouse security, the agents soon discover Archie's actual intentions and invite him to work for them. After all, he may be snarky and self-deprecating, but he's a damn good coder.

And finally there's Molly Barnette, more commonly known as writer, inventor, pacifist, and, as it turns out, former Warehouse agent HG Wells. Although she was once encased in bronze for committing unspeakable crimes, Molly has somehow broken free - and she says she wants to be back on the team. In spite of everything, JR finds himself trusting Molly and maybe even just falling a little bit in love with her.

So I'm putting together something for the Warehouse 13 ABCDPS AU, and most of the characters are lining up reasonably well, and then I have JR as Myka, which does not fit at all.

But. Tell me that if JR got suddenly stuck in a job where he has to deal with powerful artifacts, he wouldn't wind up conjuring a ferret from one within the first day.
