Today happened.
So I want to talk about Tumblr for a moment, as they released an official statement about the policy that went into effect today. Tumblr isn't banning all pornographic/NSFW art, but they aren't exactly allowing it either. In their statement, it was said that “Your content will not be deleted. If your post(s) are flagged under the new policy, they will be hidden from public view and will only be visible to you." So in other words, you post naughty stuff, only you can see it. Which I feel like kind of defeats the purpose of, ya know, posting onto Tumblr in general. I think you can still look at old posts that were made before today, in which I will say I'm not going to delete my blog, unless there is some prime reason I should. Mainly to keep it up for the posts I've made on Facebook that have the full linked to Tumblr. At the end of the day, I won't be posting from Tumblr anymore, though I'm sure many of you already knew.
