Logically, Hatsuharu knew that it’d be nearly impossible to directly oppose Akito’s will, but if it came down to it, he’d try his hardest. He loved Yuki more than he could describe and he was willing to do whatever he could to help him, even if it was in a small way—like the visits he’d made to the little dark room years ago.

Haru held him closer. “I know I can’t do much—especially if it goes against what Akito—but I promise I’ll always do what I can to help you. I’ll always find a way to come see you...I love you, and I’ll always be there for you.”
