Finished GMing the Call of Cthulu A Time to Harvest Campaign

Onto being a player in Curse of Strahd (hopefully this time the Strahd campaign goes through lol)

Lot of snacks and energy drinks consumed

21 Sessions and like 7 months later, finished my first official DnD campaign book with the crew. Played through Planescape in Turn of Fortune's wheel as Vrath the Githyanki Monk. Hell yeah 🎉🎉🎉 next stop GMing Call of Cthulu 👀

So uh this was born from angst about Wyrdwood final season happening and I'm so scared, more than I ever have been about an Oxventure finale. Wyrdwood has resonated with me on some kind of crazy level. I'm a little not normal about it. 🙈

Idk if I like how this art came out or not. I just wanted to experiment with animal symbolism and loose mixed media vibes. Never know what to say for myself when I draw something like this.

Mostly inspired by the song "Harpy Hare" by Yaelokre (that's where the "She can't keep them all safe" line comes from). If you want a soundtrack for this piece I also listened to "Mama" by Unloved and "I Bet on Losing Dogs" by Mitski while working on it and I think those had an influence as well. A good spread of songs to sum up my emotional state oof lmao

To be clear it's: Happen - cat Robin - dog Morven - wolf Cressida - jackdaw Lug - aurochs (the weirdest choice here but an extinct animal felt correct to me. I almost gave him megaloceros but aurochs felt like it fit in better with the others. Bovid vs cervid Lug was an interesting debate to be having with myself though and I still don't know where I stand.)

Anyone reading this feel free to tell me what your choice of animals would be because I find people's different opinions on this stuff so interesting.

Oxventure request! Can you draw something with Delacy and Silas from Deadlands? I thought it was sweet when early on Delacy had some whiskey trying to be like Silas, I think they’d make a good father/son duo. Or at least it would be chaotic

They're trying to figure out how the card games work and Garnet is busy. I love them as a duo. They're so silly.

Spring is FINALLY here in Australia, so I decided to celebrate by drawing some art of the oxventure characters at the beach ♥️
