“When you say like do you mean… ‘cause I’m not the guy to get involved with.”
“I’m not asking you to be my boyfriend, figured you’d be fun to fool around with.”
“Whoa. Whoa. Calm down there, Spice. No, it’s not. I just figured I’d let you know I’m available. Sorry. Wrong move.”
“Don’t start a conversation with a woman by telling her you’re available for sex. Not exactly all that appealing. Unless you’re a prostitute that’s a different situation.”
“I’m not used to it. Not that I mind.”
“Good, cause I don’t give you free food at the diner for nothing. I do like you.”
“Are you drunk already?”
“Do girls need to be drunk to find you attractive usually? Though I do have an empty flask in my bag.”
Tucker shrugged. “Well okay. If you get bored.”
“Do you typically pick up women that way? That may be why you’re not getting laid.”
“I do not pout. I’m charming.”
“You are charming to me but you do so pout.”
“Do you want to have sex with me, Parker? Just asking. I won’t mind if you wolf out on me in bed.”
“That’s not how it works.”
A red hue stained Jamison’s cheeks as he smiled. “No. But that works too I guess.” He still wasn’t in the best of moods after having a fight with his brother. Maybe Parker could cheer him up.
“And here I thought you couldn’t blush.” She smiled, looking at him over her cup as she took a long sip. “You’re cute when you do and the smile is a nice change from your usual pout.”
“How’s your night going, sugar?”
“Not bad so far but it’s still early and I’m sure you’ll hit on me any second now.”
Jamison chuckled while taking a drink of his own. “Thanks. I was hoping you’d say that.”
“Why? So I can tell you how devilishly handsome you are?”
“Parker, babe, come and sit with me.”
“Fine but only because I don’t see anyone else I know.”
“Two. Do you really think I’d be drunk for this?”
“You’re an unpredictable factor to a complicated hypothetical. So I have no idea.”
“Want some?” Jamison asked, handing her a red solo cup. “Poured it myself so you don’t have to worry about anything in it.”
Parker smiled, gratefully taking the red plastic cup. “Well, I’m hoping we’re good enough friends that the thought wouldn’t cross your mind. You look better, your face is almost all the way healed.”
“Watching drunks is a lot more fun than I thought it would be.”
“Yooooooo. What’s up?”
“What number drink are you on?”
“I didn’t realize that Winter Haven had commemorative hats.”
Gabriel was not used to just walking to a table and sit without asking them if he could sit, but seeing it was her, he just did, with a smirk on his face, he chuckled at her comment. “You are right, I’m pretty sure they will, but are you capable of putting their tip with other people, just because they can say no to a beautiful girl. Shame Parker.”
“Hello Gabe,” Parker grinned up at the alpha. “I haven’t seen you recently, where were you?”
