even if they near scrubbed the skin cells off their bodies, they’d still smell rank. there wasn’t much they could do about that. febreeze is but a gentle wind when you’re dealing with septic tanks and unidentifiable fluids. the poor things had probably gone noseblind by now. how unfortunate for anyone who remotely considered themselves close friends.

dad joke. bad, very bad dad joke. that’s surely not what his baby brother meant. he’d moved to bump his own shoulder against michelangelo’s in jest. leonardo was just trying to make him feel better, was all. though leo didn’t laugh, he flashed mikey a smile. it was hopefulbut faded much faster than he’d intended it to.

Leo was being really nice, but somehow Mikey didn’t feel better. Perhaps it was because he knew by now that Leo didn’t have all the answers.
