I read @thepettymusingsofmeat ‘s fic “Fledgling” the other week and fell absolutely in love with their characterization of a modern Lestat who’s trying so hard to be supportive through the hurt because he just loves Louis endlessly, and I had to put that feeling into a piece.

Also happy 1 week until The Vampire Lestat premiere!

I know you said life was about to get busy so obvi no pressure but im dying here!🥰

I am hoping May is a better month for me! NWD is in such a sad place and both the other fics are in either sexy (particulars) or bubbly flirtatious (intimacy coordinated) places, so it’s hard to pull myself together for NWD when I sit down for it.

That being said I know exactly where it goes, so hopefully once I’m “unblocked” it will just flow!

I am also very aware that The Particulars will become obsolete once the new season starts, so I don’t want to lose my drive for that by waiting too long to finish it.

Oh well, thanks for coming to my diary entry! 🙃

I don't know if it's intentional on your part or not, but I decided to treat "Intimacy, Coordinated" as Pride and Prejudice AU because this interpretation makes me very happy. I love this fic a lot, your Louis is absolutely wonderful ❤️

Hi!

How are you? Thoughts and feelings on the Iwtv new season's teasers so far?

I, for one, am excited! Yet forever salty that I probably won't have time to watch the new season right when it comes out. But maybe that's a good thing because it means I'll get to watch it all at once.

The boys weren't doing so great in that last chapter of NWD, my poor babies (she says about two grown men). I felt for them. I knew it was about to go down when Louis casually said he'd walk the distance from the car to the venue. I was internally screaming at the screen like when you watch a horror movie "Don't go off alone!"

The events of the last chapter were both romantic, dramatic and a train wreck happening in slow motion. I loved every second of it.

So...Any chance we'll get more soon? :D <3

“I think you will kiss me goodbye before you leave,” he says to Louis on one of their walks, two weeks after Louis arrived in New Orleans, and ten minutes after Louis announces his plan to leave in a few days. Lestat listens to Louis’s heart jump once before settling back into rhythm.  Louis shakes his head with a grin, like Lestat is a dog that just twirled for a treat. “Okay,” Louis says. “What makes you say that?” Lestat twirls in that circle now, turning to walk backwards down the street like he used to do in the early days. He smiles at Louis.  “You come all this way, you say you don’t know when you’ll be back…” Lestat trails off, clasping his hands behind himself and tilting his head.  Louis presses his lips together and looks around the tourist-lined street instead of responding.

And then Louis says he'll kiss him as long as he promises to keep his hands and fangs to himself, and not whisper any of his endearments -- because all of that drives Louis wild. 🤪
