- Hebrews 13:8
Jesus Christ is the same yesterday and today and forever. - Hebrews 13:8
Romans 3:23 says it loud and clear: for all have sinned and fall short of the glory of God.
And Romans 7:19 says: I want to do what is good, but I don’t. I don’t want to do what is wrong, but I do it anyway.
We're going to fail more times than we can count. However, Jesus Christ will always be there to forgive us and give us the strength to press on. His precious blood doesn't have an expiration date.
Thank You for making me so wonderfully complex! Your workmanship is marvelous—how well I know it. - Psalm 139:14
Fun fact: I almost died before I even took my first breath. The doctor walked into the Waiting Room, asking my dad who he wanted to be saved. My mom or me. The umbilical cord was wrapped around my neck, and I was moving dangerously in my mother's womb. Instead of losing his mind, my dad started praying, having faith that the Lord would save both Nena and I.
The doctors did an emergency C-section, and I came out completely burned from head to toe after being in the womb for 10 months. For many of the doctors I wasn't supposed to see the light of day, but the Lord had other plans.
Thank You Lord for blessing me with another year on this planet.
Don't limit the God whose power is limitless.
Don't limit the God whose power is limitless.
The plain truth.
No eres feo.
The Lord was very specific when He gave Noah the instructions on how to construct the Ark. The exact measurements from top to bottom, inside and out. When it came to the construction of the Tabernacle, it's furnishings, utensils, as well as the Ark of the Covenant the Lord was specific with the details.
And He was the same way when making us. We are uniquely made in His image. You're not ugly. You're not a failure. You're definitely not a mistake. Don't let the enemy or anyone else say otherwise. Rejoice in the Lord Jesus Christ because there's only one of you.
Remind yourself this everyday: Our story will NEVER be like anyone elses. Many times we ask ourselves: "Why was I born with a talent no one will really care about" or "I wish I knew so and so. They'd easily propel my career." We sometimes question the Lord on why He put us in our family. And don't lie, but if it's not our own reflection, our own family and friends, the enemy will whisper that we'll amount nothing.
But if you're alive and reading this, then that can only mean one thing. The Lord isn't done with you yet.
Ephesians 2:10 - For we are God's masterpiece. He has created us anew in Christ Jesus, so we can do the good things He planned for as long ago.
1 Corinthians 2:9 - That is what the Scriptures mean when they say, "No eye has seen, no ear has heard, and no mind has imagined what God has prepared for those who love Him.
Psalm 139:16-You saw me before, I was born. Every day before of my life was recorded in Your book. Every moment was laid before a single day had passed.
What those verses and more show is that the Lord Jesus Christ made each and every one of us with a specific purpose. We're not an accident or an afterthought. Christ knows the full potential we each possess. We don't see it now but soon we will. The Lord's way is always better.
When Joseph was betrayed by his own flesh and blood, the Lord never abandoned him. While Israel was enslaved and being mistreated in Egypt for 430 years, the Lord never turned His back on His suffering people. Even after falling to sin, laying with another man's wife, the Lord forgave David and remained by his side.
Whether in suffering, trials and tribulation, triumphant victory, emotional or mental strain, the Lord has, is, and will always be near to those He calls His faithful ones. The Lord never promised us a life free of problems, lies, suffering, and tears. But He did say in Hebrews 13:5 that He will never fail is, nor will He ever abandon us.
Wanna know something that most of us don't fully realize? That even when we turn our backs on our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ, when we constantly break our promises with Him, when we get angry with Him and blame Him for the horrible things happening in our lives, He is ALWAYS with us through the thick and thin. When Adam and Eve both ate from the tree that He forbidded them to eat, yes the Lord punished them but He never left their side. After David had laid with Bathsheba, the wife of one of his faithful soldiers, yes the Lord punished him but He never left his side.
When Jonas refused to follow the Lord's instruction in going to Ninevah, preaching to that sinful city, the Lord punished him but He never left his side. When Samson allowed his flesh and lustful desirs to get the better of him, yes the Lord punished him but He never left his side. When the people of Israel turned their backs on the Lord, worshipping false deities, yes the Lord punished them but He never left their side.
What am I trying to say? With all the mistakes we've committed in the past, the ones we made today, and those to come Christ WILL ALWAYS be near to us.
And even when things look bleak: losing a job, a loved one, your home, finding yourself in a hospital bed, waiting in silence for your moment to shine Christ WILL ALWAYS be near you. When the enemy, who we rebuke in the name of Jesus Christ lies, tells you that you're all alone in your current battle, always repeat Matthew 28:20 reminding him that Jesus Christ is with us ALWAYS, all the way to the end of age.
Many times we want to see the plans of the Lord be fulfilled in an instant. As humans, our patience is incredibly thin. We're promised a spouse, a happy and healthy family, a promotion, a new career, a new car or home, and much more. When we hear that, we quickly think it's scheduled to happen within a few weeks.
Even if a prophet, or the Lord himself, doesn't tell us, we think just because we pray for it the Lord is suppose to answer it in an instant. Brothers and sisters, allow me to tell you something about the difference between our timing and the Lord's.
Ecclesiastes 3:11 (NIV): "He has made everything beautiful in its time."
Isaiah 60:22 (NIV): "When the time is right, I, the Lord, will make it happen."
Prayer is great and necessary in this walk. However, you can't win the Lord over, or tell Him because you prayed x amount of days and hours that you deserve your prayers to be answered. All you need is faith. Faith that Christ WILL start AND finish what He started with us. He doesn't forget, He doesn't need to be persuaded, He doesn't need anyone's help. He's Christ.
