men should learn more about female desire and eroticism and devotion and passion and less about porn
I am going to survive because I am crazy and fiercely passionate and intense and full of love
“Don’t be overwise; fling yourself straight into life, without deliberation; don’t be afraid — the flood will bear you to the bank and set you safe on your feet again.”
— Fyodor Dostoyevsky, Crime and Punishment

Small choices don’t feel powerful in the moment, but over time they decide everything.
Ignoring a problem is a decision. It is not a neutral act and it is not a postponement of the decision. It is the decision, made by default, with the worst possible timing and the least possible leverage. Action taken early when the problem is small and the options are many is categorically different from action taken late when the problem is large and the options have narrowed and the stress of the situation is now consuming the energy you need to actually solve it.
Do the thing now. Make the appointment. Start the habit. Address the problem. Take the precaution. Do it before you need to, before it is urgent, before the options have narrowed and the stress has arrived and you are looking back at the version of yourself who had all the time and all the options and chose comfort instead.
No matter what’s happening in your life right now, don’t let it steal another day from you through sadness or discouragement. You’ve done what you can. God still has an incredible future waiting for you. Jesus already paid the price so you could truly live, not just get by, but experience life in abundance, full and overflowing with His goodness.
eventually you’ll have to start choosing yourself and for yourself or when you look back it’ll be too late and you will never know what it could’ve been
I need my weird alone time or I will explode
depressed at 11 was crazy i should have become a child prodigy
Just try your best, get off your phone as much as you can, honor your hurt feelings and also the hurt feelings of others, favor sincerity over nonchalance whenever it’s appropriate to, reach out to people you miss, let go of people when it’s time, operate from a deeply rooted self respect rather than from a lens of what people think, try your best to read the room, sit in the sun on overcast days (with sunscreen on), drink lots of water, pursue everything you want aggressively, accept that your timeline will be different, welcome detours if circumstances call for them, hold both yourself and others accountable, try to move your body as much as you can and you will be okay diva
When God says move, trust that the path will appear.
Your routines are a love letter to your future self
god likes you lonely. god likes you crushing on him. rumor is he's clingy. rumor is he's buried in the valley of negev. i know he's in your bed, though. i know his knees are to his chest on your bed, his cheeks flushed the color of lilacs. i know he loves you. he tells me this
