Okay but did anyone else notice this little gem involving Aden:
Lexa introduces Aden to Clarke and asks Aden to tell Clarke what will happen when he becomes Heda. Like she already knows he will take her place, quite likely that day. She may have confidence in herself, but she has faced death so many times and there is a likelihood she’ll die that day or another one soon after.
But Aden, sweet boy. He hesitates and frames the word if when he talks about being Heda. And yes, maybe it’s because he’s uncertain he will become Heda when Lexa dies. But I am pretty damn sure that boy is also saying it because he has faith and hope with his Heda, his mentor. He has hope that she will live and so that if is because of that.
