‘’ Don’t look but this guy over there is totally checking you out. ‘’
She laughed. "I don't think so. If anything, he's checking you out." She said with a smile. "Maybe you should turn on the Winchester charm tonight?"

Her heart dropped. No wonder he was so scared, it was because he was alone. "It's settled then. You're staying with me for a while until I can locate a Winchester." She said, looking over at him for a moment before looking back at the road. They kept animal hearts in their freezer, she was sure they had blood from them somewhere. Plus it gave him a place to sleep and be safe.

She gave a nod in mention to the Winchester family. "They all have big hearts that have been damaged by one thing or another." She said, knowing that she was lucky to know them. "They have daughters...maybe they can help us." She said with a slight smile. It faded though at mention of his father being dead.
"I'm sorry to hear that...what about your mother?" She asked carefully. CC figured Leo would tell her everything or most details when he was ready.

Cece smiled slightly at his stammer. "I remember when I was 10 and I went into the woods alone. I found a man with blood on his lips and he leaned against a tree. He was in pain from being attacked and said he was dying. So I sat with him and I discovered he was a vampire. He told me all of these wonderful stories until he stopped talking...and then when I was 15, I met the Winchester family...and I had to do what my father did before he was turned into a werewolf. I had to help their daughters...so I did tracking and job hunting.."
Cece swallowed and gripped the steering wheel. "I met a whole nest of vampires and they tried to kill me...as well as nearly wiping out a whole town. It depends who you are and what you do. Strange as it seems though, I see that man from the forest in your eyes."

"I w-was clean," he said, quietly, very quietly. He wiped his mouth as if rubbing away imaginary blood. The blackouts…. They didn’t happen often, but they terrified him. He tried to be good. He tried /so hard/ to be a good little vampire. He wasn’t even that good at playing human yet. He’d been held captive for years. He wasn’t quite sure how to act anymore. He half-nodded slowly. "Ok-kay," he stammered, glancing over at her.
“My car is outside..we should go.” She said, standing and going to pay for the cofffe before going back to the booth they were both sitting in. “You’re safe with me...okay? I hunt the supernatural...don’t be mistaken...I’m not going to hurt you though. You’re...different.” She said. She had met other vampires before and they were gone, too gone. Murderous and thirsty, killing others for their life support. She understood the need to survive but the murder. She hated the murder.
She lead him out to the car and got in, waiting for him to do the same before starting it and backing out. “So. How vampire...ish are you? Any ‘side effects’? Like the sun hurts a little or something?”

Was? Was he all alone? She then heard him stammer out his reply and frowned slightly. "Oh Leo...they were hunters...I examined them. They made you, didn't they?" She then resisted the urge to gently touch his hand. "My parents are both werewolves...makes me a pureblood...I've had a black out or two that terrified me...I get it. But now other hunters are after you so we can't idle for too long..."

"Laffite?" She quirked an eyebrow as she looked over the newspaper at him. She then folded it and placed it to the side. "I don't know what percentage of you is...not natural...but people are hunting you and I need to know why. You can tell me what you've done...I'll understand. I just need to know what's going on."
"You don't find love like you two have every day. It's kind of a rarity, really." She smiled. "And I wish you luck. The both of you."

Cecilia had been looking over a newspaper while sitting in some diner by herself when she saw someone approach her table. She looked up and smiled slightly. "Sleep well? I ordered you coffee...wasn't sure how you took it..or if you even drink coffee but you're in some serious trouble...and we need to talk. I'm Cecilia by the way...hope there's no hard feelings about me knocking you out..."
Leo shook his slightly. “N-no, I’ll fix you. I’m a Winchester. There’s no can’t in Winchester.” He drew in a breath. “It’s, uh….. It’s nothing. It’s nothing, just….” His next words left him in a whoosh. “IthinkArthur’sgonnapropose.”
She slapped him in the arm, “I thought someone was dying or something horrible was happening Leo! This is good news…right? This is something you would want?” She asked, smile coming and going quickly.
Leo nodded, but opened his mouth to speak again. “I’m scared. What if…. What if being close to me hurts him? What if he decides that he doesn’t love me? What if…. What if I mess it up?”
"Hey...no. You two have been through so much already...I can sense it just in the way you two look at each other. Nothing can break a bond like that...and I know it's different, person to being to monster...but love is love and that is universal. It goes across all kinds...and you are not going to mess this up because that boy loves you so much he would probably find a way to give you the moon if you asked for it.."
Leo shook his slightly. “N-no, I’ll fix you. I’m a Winchester. There’s no can’t in Winchester.” He drew in a breath. “It’s, uh….. It’s nothing. It’s nothing, just….” His next words left him in a whoosh. “IthinkArthur’sgonnapropose.”
She slapped him in the arm, "I thought someone was dying or something horrible was happening Leo! This is good news...right? This is something you would want?" She asked, smile coming and going quickly.
“Where’s theres a Wincheater, there’s a way,” he repeated, a soft smile on his lips. “We could get you soul back,” he suggested. “Done that before.” He smiled again. “Yes. We definitely should.” He tilted his head when she spoke to him, frowning, and lowered his arm. “Oh, nothing…. It just reminded me of something that happened…. Years ago.” He hesitated before he spoke again, but then thought against it. “We need to do something for you f-first.” Anyone who knew him knew he stuttered when he was nervous (or around new people).
"Leo, don't worry about me too much. I made my bed and now I have to lay in it...what's going on?" She asked, noticing the stutter.
Leo patiently listened. He was a good listener. Despite what he’d been through, what he’d done, he still was good and still wanted to help people. He shook his head slightly, rubbing a phantom pain on his arm before holding his right hand there. “I won’t tell anyone,” he said, his voice soft, “if you don’t want me too.” He blinked, his eyes shifting into gold when he opened them until he blinked again. “Of course there is,” he said. “Where there’s a Winchester, theres a way,” he added, half to himself, with a smile. “When I was dying, you helped me. I’m still here. I’ll help you,” he said simply.
"Yeah there's a catch. I won't have my soul anymore..." She said, frowning slightly. "But thank you...for all of it..." She then smiled, "When there's a Winchester, there's a way. We should laminate that for them. Stick it all over the bunker...is your arm okay? Are you okay?"
To celebrate, of course. For some time he hadn’t quite gotten the idea of birthdays, but he did love the idea of giving presents. “You’re welcome,” he said softly, but he stopped, straightening up when she spoke again. “What?” he said. “Is something wrong?”
"I was injected once with a high amount of wolfsbane...and it's still in my system. I can heal myself but it doesn't do much...I'm getting worse and eventually I'm going to die...like slowly being poisoned..." She swallowed and shook her head. "Nobody else knows...I can't tell them, please...especially the Winchesters. You can't cheat fate.."
Leo’s smile widened when CeCe opened her gift and liked it. He put a lot of thoughts into his presents, and took time to get them right. Apparently he had here. CeCe put the box aside and moved to hug him. He’d long since stopped flinching from all touch, but he still did sometimes, but CeCe was family. He hugged her for a moment and smiled when they pulled apart. “I hope you like it.”
"Of course I do, it's a dagger and it's beautiful at that." She said, still smiling slightly. "Oh you got me a birthday present...to celebrate...I..oh. Leo, I have to tell you something..." Her smile disappeared into a slight frown.
Leo hesitated in the doorway. It sounded like she was having a really private conversation, maybe he should go… But something tugged him forward, and it wasn’t eavesdropping. It was the small wrapped box in his hands. “I wasn’t dropping no eaves,” he promised, half smiling. Gingerly, he held up the box. “Your, uh…. Your birthday was last week. I just…. Found this a bit late. Took me a while to track it down….”
CeCe smiled slightly at his comment about dropping no eaves before looking a bit surprised. "Oh, thank you Leo. You didn't have to get me anything but thank you." She smiled, shaking it slightly. "I probably shouldn't shake it then if it's something that takes a while to track down.." She smiled sheepishly as she opened it. "You got me a dagger" She grinned before placing it to the side to hug him. "Thank you...really.."
