You had a complicated relationship with the maknae of the worldwide sensation, Baby Saja, from the Saja Boys. You refused to call him by his stage name. He was known to you as Tae, his real name. Before he had sold his soul to Gwi-Ma. If you two didn’t share a kid, you would’ve left him alone a long time ago.
He was a fantastic father, no matter how aggravating of a person he was. Your son, Jeong, loved his father. He always sang his songs, wore an identical cap, and almost always asked when he was going to his ‘daddy’s house’. He also shared almost an identical resemblance to him, other than your (eye color) eyes.
Quick knocking on your door cuts you out of your thoughts. “Daddy’s here!” Jeong sang through the house as he ran up to the door. You narrowed your eyebrows, cutting off the TV.
“He’s early.” You noted to yourself as you opened the door. “Tae.” You greeted.
“Hey (Name).” He responded, looking past your legs at the three year old. “Hey buddy!” He smiled, crouching down as Jeong ran into his arms.
“Practice ended early?” You asked, stepping to the side as you let Tae and Jeong walk inside.
“Yeah. Jinu had a date with Rumi. And, Muscle-Head and Heart-Eyes had some appointment with pinky.” He answered, sitting on your couch. He chuckled to himself as Jeong crawled into his lap and curled up against his chest.
“Mm.” You nodded, sitting in the loveseat.
“Jinu’s boy is having a birthday party later today actually.” Tae said, rubbing Jeong’s back as the toddler curled up into his chest.
“So, do you still want Jeong this weekend or just for a few hours?” You questioned, resting your elbow on the arm of the chair and placing your cheek against your hand.
“Yes, it’s my weekend.” Tae rolled his eyes before looking back at you. “I brought it up because I wanted to see if you wanted to go. You got along with Rumi pretty good when we were dating.”
“I haven’t seen Rumi in a little over three years.” You crossed your arms and leaned back into your seat. “Does Rumi even know you’re trying to invite me?” You asked, raising an eyebrow as you looked at Jeong who had quickly fallen asleep on his fathers chest.
“Yeah, she asked me to see if you wanted to come.” He shrugged. “Maybe all three of us can get dinner as a family after.” He smiled as he noticed Jeong had fallen asleep.
You narrowed your eyebrows at him. “Tae, when have we ever gotten dinner as a family? The closest thing we’d gotten to that was when I’d told you I was pregnant.” You scoffed.
Tae looked away, biting the inside of his cheek. “I apologized for that.” He muttered. “Are you always going to hold onto that?” He looked at you.
“I told you I was pregnant and you left me in the middle of a restaurant.” You responded, looking back at him. “Besides, you know we can’t stand each other. Trying to go to some kind of family event would just turn everything into chaos.”
“No, you can’t stand me.” Tae clarified, his blue eyes shifting to a golden hue as he tried to calm his annoyance a little. “You sing a little song about it when we get into arguments about Jeong.” He rolled his eyes. “Baby Daddy, Baby Daddy, oh I can’t stand you.” He mocked.
You laughed. “It’s a funny song.”
“Doesn’t change the fact that all the hate is one sided.” He retorted, his voice missing his usual playfulness.
“I don’t hate you Tae.” You sighed. “I couldn’t hate you. I loved you.” You pushed a stray hair behind your ear and looked away from him. “But you get on my fucking nerves.”
“Yeah. Well, that feeling can be mutual at times.” He looked down as Jeong shifted himself, snuggling deeper into his father.
“You don’t wonder what it’s like?” He asked you after a few minutes of silence.
“What, what’s like?” You looked at him, leaning back against the loveseat.
Tae’s fingers ran through the toddler’s blue locks, pushing his bangs from in front of his face. “Being an actual family. Not having to split your time with him. Coming home to each other.” He explained, looking back up at you.
Your face softened as you looked at him. Have you ever wondered what it was like? Absolutely. For the first few weeks you sobbed over the fact that your idea of a family had to change. Over the years, the idea lessened, almost to the point where you hadn’t even thought about it… that much anymore.
“Don’t you have a girlfriend?” You rolled your eyes.
“Had.” He corrected you, looking back down at Jeong. “And I’m not asking because I’m lonely, because I know that’s your next question.”
“Are you sure? Jeong’s three and you’ve never asked me if I’ve thought about being a family.” You scoffed, crossing your arms. “Why’re you asking me Tae?” You looked at him. Your heart was almost doing backflips.
He stayed silent for a second. “I just…” he began, before growling silently to himself as he pulled his phone out of his pocket and answered it.
“Yeah?” He answered. “I’m asking her right now Jinu.”
Waving your hand to grab his attention, he turned his head. “What?” He asked, pulling his phone his his ear.
You smiled as Jeong ran around Rumi and Jinu’s large yard with their son, Ryung, his laughter echoing into the air. You leaned against the fence as you took the scene in. The children were running and laughing. Mira’s hand caressing their large bump. How Zoey chastises Mystery for being a Helicopter Dad. It was a beautiful little scene that you felt you had no part of.
“I’m almost surprised to see you, (Name). You kinda disappeared on us.” Rumi said, her arms crossing over themselves as she leaned against the fence next to you.
“I’ve never been one to deny an invitation.” You shrugged before sighing to yourself and shaking your head. “No, that’s not it…” you looked at Rumi. “It was hard to be around all of you after the break up.”
Rumi nodded solemnly. “I get that. But we could’ve still been friends.” She said softly.
“You have Zoey and Mira.” You looked back at Jeong.
“They missed you. You were a fun addition to the insanity we all go through. Someone… normal.” She uncrossed her arms as she looked at Ryung.
The girls had their cool little tricks, the boys were demons. And you were just… normal.
You nodded a little, pushing the normal comment down. You knew she didn’t mean malice behind it, hell, her life was so far from the normal you couldn’t help but wonder if the normal comment was attached with a tinge of jealousy.
You sighed and looked back at Rumi. “So… what’s new?” You asked, trying to break some of the ice wall that stood between the two of you.
“We’ve released music, went to the states a few times, and did a combined tour with the boys last year.”
You nodded, remembering how you watched the tour with Jeong.
“Mira’s having twin boys, Zoey’s little boy just learned how to walk.” Rumi said, your eyes catching as her hand absentmindedly moved to her stomach.
“I take it you’re also pregnant?” You asked, looking at her hand.
“What? How did you know?” She asked, looking at you.
“You’re touching your stomach.” You shrugged, gesturing to her hand.
“Oh…” She rubbed the back of her neck. “We found out a few weeks ago.” She answered, looking at Jinu who was handing drinks out to the tots.
“It’s kind of funny. We all have boys.” You smiled, looking at Jeong, who happily slurped down his juice.
“Must be something in the water.” Rumi laughed a little. “So what’s new with you?”
You shrugged. “Nothing really. I’m releasing my book next month.” You replied.
“You’re finally releasing it?” Rumi beamed, looking at you with a wide smile.
“Not that book… I couldn’t finish that one.” You shook your head.
That book… the book you vaguely wrote for your love story with Tae. A book that certainly would’ve fallen under the category “The MMC’s red flags are really green if you squint at them.” But with no happily ever after in sight, it remained at the bottom of your docs.
“What are you releasing then?” Rumi asked.
“A horror one.” You looked at Tae, who kept stealing glances at you.
Rumi nodded before telling you a brief goodbye as she walked over to Jinu who was.
“Mommy I’m having so much fun!” Jeong giggled as he ran over to you, his chubby arms wrapping around your legs.
“Oh yeah?” You asked, pushing his hair from his face as he beamed up at you.
“Can I spend the night with Ryung and Saem?” He asked, letting go of your legs.
“Aunt Mimi and Zozo already said yes and to ask you!” Jeong quickly interrupted you as he looked back at Zoey and Rumi, who were dealing with their own rambunctious boys.
“You have to ask Daddy. It’s his weekend with you.” You finally clarified. “But, to sweeten the deal.” You crouched down to eye level with you. “Tell him mommy said it was ok.”
Jeong grinned as he turned his head trying to find Tae.
“No need to sweeten any deals.” Tae said, appearing next to you. “You can spend the night.” He said, ruffling Jeong’s hair.
Jeong squealed with excitement as he quickly ran back to Saem and Ryung.
“So. We’re both free tonight.” Tae looked down at you.
“You never answered if we’d go to dinner together.”
You sighed, fighting back an urge to roll your eyes. “Not that I’m saying no, but what if dinner goes alright?” You asked.
“Then it goes alright, and we see about another dinner that involves Jeong.” He shrugged.
“What’s the angle you’re playing, Tae? Three years, six girlfriends, and now you want your family back?”
“You’ve had two boyfriends yourself, let’s not forget that.”
“Jeong met neither of them.” You rolled your eyes. “He’s met four of yours.” You added, looking at him. “So what’s your angle?”
“My angle?” Tae scoffed, crossing his arms. “I don’t have one. You’ve never believed my words.”
“Yeah, because you’re a liar.” You scoffed.
“I’ve never lied to you. Kept shit, yea maybe. But never have I lied to you.”
“Keeping shit is lying.” You looked at him.
“Besides, we don’t get along.”
“Because you’re still mad about the restaurant.” Tae uncrossed his arms. “You still haven’t forgiven me for it. I’ve apologized, I’m a great father, and I’ve been trying. You’ve made mistakes to, but we don’t focus on that, just the one fuck up I made.” He looked at you, vaguely mentioning the mistakes you’ve made.
“I’m not perfect, (Name). But I made something perfect.” He looked at Jeong. “We made something perfect, and I still love you.” He looked back at you. “And you still love me. You want the same shit I do, you want our family.”
You kept your lips closed, your eyes unable to look away from Tae. God he was right.
“Then what was up with all the girlfriends?” You asked.
“You didn’t want me then. You were still too mad.”
“So fucking other girls—“
“I never fucked them. Took ‘em out on dates? Yes. Gave them front stage passes? Yes. Let one suck my dick… yea. But I didn’t fuck them.” He looked at you.
“You, on the other hand, moved completely on. Twice. It took some convincing to those guys to hit the fucking road, but I wasn’t letting them get in the way of my family.”
You narrowed your eyebrows, a rage began to bubble inside of you as you listened to him.
“So yeah. Those girls? I did it to make you jealous. I’m not a good demon, but I am a man.” Tae said, crossing his arms. “You think I wasn’t dying inside when you told me about (Random Name) or (Random Name)? Oh I was broken.”
“You threatened my exes?”
“And I’ll keep doing it. I want a family, (Name).” He paused before clarifying. “I want my family. We never had the chance to be a real family. I don’t want to split my time with Jeong with you. I want to share it. I want to put him to bed, and then get into bed with you. I want both of us to walk him to his first day, not because we met up and walked him in, but because we drove there together. I want you. I want Jeong. I want us.”
You swallowed the enormous lump in your throat, pushing past the tears that wanted to spill. You waited three years to hear those words. You almost felt guilty for moving on when he was apparently stuck in the past.
“One dinner.” You whispered. “And we’ll see where things go from there…”
Laughter came in waves from the both of you as you walked to your apartment door.
“I can’t believe you did that.” You giggled as you opened your door.
“Really? Seems exactly like something I’d do.” Tae shrugged as he walked in, smiling at you.
You closed the door behind you, leaning against the dark wood as you took him in.
Like three years never passed, the dinner was delightful. You couldn’t remember the last time you’d laughed that hard.
“So, did you enjoy dinner?” Tae asked, his hand cupping your cheek as the other rested on the curve of your hip.
You bit your lip, looking up at him. “I did.”
“(Name), before I do what I wanna do, I’m sorry.” He whispered. “I regret it, everyday. And I can’t change what I did, but I want to make it up to you.” His lips hovered over yours as he maintained eye contact.
A soft groan came from the back of his throat as he crouched down to his knees.
“Making it up the way I know how.” Tae’s voice came out low, his eyes flashing a bright yellow as his thumbs hooked around your leggings.
“T-Tae…” you breathed, looking down at him.
He shushed you quietly as he pulled down your leggings and panties, helping you step out of them. “Let me do this.” He spoke, his voice full of dominance that you didn’t know you’d missed.
Sex with Tae before had always been fun, full of energy, but always seemed to lack… intimacy. Not that you didn’t get yours, because you always had. But, him on his knees in front of you was a sight that you hadn’t seen before… and didn’t realize until now you needed it more.
You nodded, your hand covering your mouth as you looked to the side.
Tae’s eyes closed as he leaned in, you felt yourself squirm as you felt him inhale against you. “Fuck… I didn’t forget how sweet you smelled…” He whispered to himself, his hand moving your thigh on top of his shoulder as his tongue met your soaking core.
“Fuck…” you moaned against your hand, your other tangling in his hair as he pulled you closer, lapping up your juices that dripped to the floor.
“Taste so fucking good…” He praised against your skin, his tongue moving in circles around your swollen clit.
“T-Tae… I’m gonna…” You whined, your head leaning back as you felt a knot form in your stomach.
Tae’s other hand gripped your ass as he pulled you as close as he could, his licking becoming more fervent as he brought you through your orgasm.
“Fuck!” You cried, your back arching as you felt yourself cum.
Tae smirked to himself as he rose to his full height, his arms wrapping around your waist as he picked you up. “You tasted sweeter than I remember.” He said, moving your legs around his waist.
“You eat pussy better than I remember.”
“Porn is a pretty good teacher.” Tae shrugged, walking to your bedroom.
You chuckled, shaking your head before feeling yourself be set down on your back against your soft bed.
Tae bit his lip as he stripped, tossing his clothes behind him until he stood before you naked. His cock standing harder than it had the last time you’d seen it. God… it looked almost bigger.
“It’ll fit.” He told you, his hand wrapping around it as he stroked it firmly. “I’ll make it fit.” He warned. “You want this cock in your tight pussy, don’t you, baby?” He asked, kneeling on the bed.
“Please.” You whispered, looking up at him.
“Say my name.” He demanded, the tip of his cock teasing your clit slowly.
“Baby, please.” You begged, reaching down to his hand to try to pull him in.
“Uh-uh.” Tae shook his head, his hand grabbing both of yours and pinning them above your head. “The name you called me before.”
“Daddy please.” You whined, looking up at him.
“That one.” He growled to himself before thrusting in, his grip on your wrists tightening as he closed his eyes. “Fuck…” he muttered, his hips stilling against yours.
You moaned loudly, your back arching as your eyes rolled back.
“You missed this just as much as I did, didn’t you, babydoll? Missed feeling this fat cock bruising that little cervix of yours?” He asked, his hips slamming against you with every word.
“Yes, what?” He asked, sneaking his free hand to circle your clit.
“Yes, Daddy!” You cried out, the knot in your stomach quickly forming as he rutted into you.
“Such a good girl.” He praised. “Taking my cock so well, I bet those other guys couldn’t even make you cum as fast as I can, could they babydoll?”
“I know they couldn’t.” He scoffed. “Because this is my pussy.” He said into your ear. “Isn’t that right?”
You nodded, the words unable to leave your throat as you moaned and squirmed underneath him.
“You gonna cum?” He asked, kissing your neck. “You gonna cum on Daddy’s fat cock?”
Your nodded quicker as you felt your climax approaching soon.
“You gonna let Daddy fill you up? Gonna let Daddy get you pregnant again?” He asked, his torture on your clit picking up speed. “Get these titties fat and full of milk again, yea?”
“Yes please!” You sobbed, your body shaking as you came, feeling yourself drench the bed underneath you.
“Such a good girl.” He grunted, his thrusts losing speed as you felt his warmth gush into you and underneath you. “Fuck…” He whispered, laying on top of you, letting go of his grip on your wrists. “I love you, (Name).”
“I love you, Tae.” You whispered, your breathing quick as you wrapped your arms around his shoulders.
