The LEGGIES
“Todays forecast we can clearly see that somebody got me fucked up. FUCKED. UP.” (sends u a vine meme bc i’m like that, from jhin)
KHADA JHIN.
“Holy shit, I hope it’s me! It’s usually me.” Hanging backwards off a branch, the Vastayan grins at Jhin, arms folding behind his head. “What’s up, stranger?!”
Meet The Closest Living Relative To The Extinct Dodo Bird With Incredibly Colorful Iridescent Feathers
That will be me, / silver / and wild and free;
H.D., from Collected Poems 1912-1944; “Sigil” (via luthienne)
Beginning last summer Twitter user @fuguhitman began illustrating his personal backlog of bird-bread puns. His first starchy birb was the Sparroll and he claims to have at least 20 to work through. With 9 completed thus far, we have one question for him: why did you wait so long to share these works of punny goodness with the world?
Follow @fuguhitman on Twitter to make sure you don’t miss out on the rest of the breadbird flock and little bonus birbs such as this chocolate chick cookie:

“Hey guys what’s going on in this newscast.” [video]
A Surprise
This was - well, in a word, it was annoying. This whole situation made him prickle in irritation. His feathers were being ruined, and Xayah had gotten hurt, and -
Fuck it.
His ears perk instantly at the sound of Xayah’s voice, and he grins, obeying instantly. Flinging himself backwards, he tears the Kiilash’s hands from his throat, ignoring the bloody gashes left in their way. Dropping to the ground, he lands in a crouch, already spinning to sweep the kitty cat off his feet and send him flying.
His voice is hoarse, but cheery as ever. “Hey, baby! Missed ya!”
Happy Arbor Day from Redwood National and State Parks – home of the world’s tallest trees. These towering trees sprout from a seed the size of a tomato seed, and they can grow to a height of 367 feet. That’s about the size of 35-story skyscraper. These trees’ ability to regenerate allows it to prosper despite insects and fire, and ultimately to survive as a species. Visitors to California’s Redwood National and State Parks and Headwaters Forest Reserve often come to just see these world-famous trees, but nothing prepares them for a hike in the ethereal forests of massive redwoods shrouded in fog with light streaming through the trees. Check out more remarkable trees on public lands: on.doi.gov/trees

What a stunning picture! What a stunning place! The redwood forests are definitely on my list of places I need to go.
