I suppose it's time to answer a few questions. As most of you know, I've disappeared off Tumblr for quite a while now, rather rudely I might add. I've made friends here and I've found a few people whose content I actually like.

Unfortunately, I found that Tumblr wasn't doing me any good. It stopped me from liking things I'd actually enjoy because of the stupid toxic hugbox that made itself all nice and cozy here. Way back when I first started this blog, it was a cool little niche where I could find art and fandom uploads and other people who shared the same interests as I do. Over time, it evolved into a hateful place where these idiots are all feeding everyone the same kool-aid and making everyone dumber. I've seen smart, sensible people enter tumblr and emerge as people who are offended over everything, who are overly sensitive because some fuckwad told them they're actually Victims and must be protected at all costs. The sad bit is they've agreed to be these victims. Yes, I am oppressed. Yes, I am special. Boo hoo hoo.

There are good people and there are bad people. Telling people not to rape will not stop rapists. Same way telling people not to steal or lie will not stop people from stealing or lying.

I'm probably not coming back. This is just too toxic an environment for me to stay. I know I can choose to follow and unfollow people but tbh, even if I do unfollow everyone who's ever posted anything about feminism and anti-feminism, it just kind of seeps into people's posts no matter what.

Even though Phoenix is kind of proven to be straight, given that he dated Dahlia Hawthorne/Iris in college and, in AAI, when you’re asking Marvin Grossberg about his connection to Redd White, one of the options says “You’re lovers”, and if you choose it, Phoenix says “It’s not something I can claim to understand… But you two are lovers, aren’t you?” 

Detective Gumshoe is madly in love with Maggey Byrde. Anybody with a pair of working eyes who played any three games of the trilogy, or even Miles Edgeworth: Investigations, can see that. 

I admit that I can see Maya being at least bi, because she repeatedly comments on how “cute” Regina Berry is in case 3 of JFA. But if anything, she’s in love with burgers more than she is men or women.

Mia has never been shown to have any sort of attraction to women, and I don’t want to say her and Diego Armando were together, but there was definitely something going on with those two.

It’s obvious that Diego Armando, later Godot, is straight, because he has never been shown to be attracted to men, and was in love with Mia, thus giving rise to his grudge with Phoenix.

Franziska von Karma is simply too much of a perfectionist and obsessed with her prosecuting record to ever even think about dating anybody. 

Hell, even half of Wendy Oldbag’s character is based off of the fact that she has a massive crush on Edgeworth. 

The list goes on. By the way, in what world is Miles Edgeworth a “boring and lousy character”? 

This is a man who was traumatized as a child because he was stuck in an elevator during an earthquake, and had to witness his father being murdered right in front of him by Manfred von Karma. He decided to become a prosecutor because he felt that the defense attorney who got the man accused of murdering Gregory Edgeworth off the hook was corrupt. This is the man who blames himself for the death of his father even several years later, which makes him feel restless even into his prosecuting career. He tries to confess to a crime he did not commit in case 4 of AAI because he was so full of guilt. Even after he was proven to be innocent, the memory of DL-6 still haunts him. 

Besides the tragic backstory, Miles Edgeworth is shown to be a highly intelligent man with decorum and incredible skills of deduction who takes great pride in his work, and seeks the truth no matter how much it might hurt (this is stated repeatedly by him). He always has a sarcastic, witty one-liner to go hand-in-hand with the evidence and logic he uses to crush his opponent in such a satisfying way. He and Phoenix were originally intended to be rivals, but in the worst of times, they share a sort of friendship and have each others’ backs. 

So no, just because a character doesn’t date =/= gay. Just because two males characters interact with each other (wow, shocking!) and are (gasp!) friends, does not mean they’re gay lovers. You’re making assumptions off of stereotypes and frankly, that’s pretty dumb.

Of course, you had to blow the end to get it to work... even if that was more mind-over-matter. And oh god the graphics.

Tell me, how does one go about stealing a show?

Yea and it seems the person thinks doctors will misdiagnose them and never help them, that a real diagnosis would ruin their life and theyd never get a job because of it. Freaking childish idiot who probably only learned about advp through tumblr and labeled themselves as it because they're 'shy'.

They do realize that self-diagnosis is wrong a lot of the time? And even then if you’re ‘self diagnosed’ then you aren’t granted legal protection, so an employer can legally not hire you. If you have a disability and a diagnosis, then employers can’t discriminate, after all.  And that your life could be ruined anyway because if you can’t get a job because of your condition, then the government won’t pay benefits because it’s not a real diagnosis.

In case you can’t tell I’m very passionate about this topic…
