Pardon the intrusion, Therapist, but how has your path been on becoming us? Any aches in your head? Pain in the joints? Back problems?
I've definitely noticed a gradual path I've not been deviating from since I've accepted what will happen. I can't say why it's been so slow, but perhaps my body is more scared to change than my mind is, if that makes sense? It knows something is very wrong, but I'm not doing anything to stop it. Pink has said something about trying to hold out until they, my sweetheart, and I have time to come together and fully allow the sequence to happen.
In the meantime, I've come to enjoy what I used to cook and eat less and less, even when I power through what tastes bland and "off". My dear's cooking, meanwhile, is getting a lot better, and it pierces this strange aversion. I also struggle with sleep, and for what little time I am asleep, my dreams are vivid and feel realistic despite the content. My most recent was one I shared with my sweetheart over a week ago, and I fear, eventually, I won't sleep or dream at all. Sometimes, after sleeping, I do feel some traces of a headache around my eyes, but it fades after some time. My joints are remarkably fine for my age, and I only get backaches when at my desk for too long, as usual.
But, the strangest signs, in my opinion, is the stress I sometimes feel when the basement isn't as full. It's especially bad when there's no one with me, and I'm entirely alone for a few short moments. I've kept it under control; I don't want to scare the others. The relief when I know my friends and darling are safe is wonderful, though! I'd not want any of them to be hurt by the outside world!
Those are the main abnormalities I've noticed, but nothing else. Of course, I can't reveal everything... I'm content with waiting for Pink and my dear to watch this unfold, even if the progression isn't as fast as I anticipated.
