THIS ONE FUCKING WORKS. REBLOG IT.
A frayed soul, worn and careless. Yet it fights for the suffering of a grieving heart.
What I hide behind that locked door is my shadow.
Yeah, I loved you, but I had to pretend, because somewhere, I knew. You didnât love me the way I wanted you to, and I canât change that. Ever.
Give yourself some credit for the days you made it when you thought you couldnât.
Love is messy, itâs stupid, itâs selfish. Itâs...bold.
- Ellie Chu
When you held me, everything seemed right. Today I long for that touch, despondent, because I know Iâve lost it forever.

Never do anything just because you feel obliged to. Your mental health is more important and if doing this puts you in an unwanted state, itâs not worth it.
âBefore you go, I must tell you, you were my light. And it brings me so much pain that I couldnât be yours.â
- me, a while ago. (But like in the feels again today so why not)
Everyone has insecurities and things they want to change about themselves. Itâs wrong to think youâre not good enough, but itâs good to try and strive to be a better you. Itâs healthy to work on yourself.
Think of everything that happens as a chapter in the book called life. If you skip something nothing else will make sense. Sometimes it can be hard to understand, but it all makes sense in the end.
If you want a 10 youâve to work like a 10. Sometimes you want to be a 10 at everything and the reality is that you just can't. So whenever confronting a task, ask yourself how much of yourself you're willing to give and how much is healthy for you to give.
Sometimes we are so focused on aligning with what we think is ârightâ that we suppress/invalidate our feelings. This doesn't mean to act on every emotion, but it's important to acknowledge that the feelings do exist.
Donât try to shut out feelings. The monster locked behind the door will only get angrier. Donât try to bottle it up, because it will overflow.
You donât know whatâs going to happen next. Thereâs no way to predict your future. So why worry? The best you can do is fight through it smiling, take it as it comes.
Be proud of your accomplishments. Whether itâs getting out of bed in the morning or following your schedule. Itâs progress, the tiniest bit of interest is better than nothing. Itâs an achievement because youâre still trying.
Strive for progress, not perfection. You can be a masterpiece and still strive to be a better you. Itâs about being better than your past self. Itâs important to do it for you. In a way, everyoneâs a work in progress.
