EUC Rothy’s black Flats. Made from recycled plastic bottles, flexible, breathable, and washable. These shoes run small. They were way too small for me after I gave birth. Prior, they were a tight fit at best. They were too small for me after I gave birth. I advise running a half size up. Worn less than a dozen times and have been washed three times. Sole of the right shoe looks gray after most recent wash. The inner soles show some wear, but I think it’s from getting beat up in the wash with other shoes. They are washable and replacement inner soles can be purchased from the Rothy’s site.

EUC Converse Chucks size 6 These were loved but not worn often. Classic canvas All-Stars in black. Some fading due to washing and then drying in the sun. These have been recently washed. Converse says their All-Stars run a half size large, but when worn with socks, I don’t find this to be true. E.g. I normally wear a 6.5 but have had to size up to a 7 rather than the 6 fitting me at 6.5, so please bear that in mind. Some normal scuffing and wear from mostly infrequent use, but rest assured they are clean. Ships from a smoke-free and hypo-allergenic home in Hawaii.🌴 No trades. No PP. Dear Max, Dada finally took your Squidster to Our Spot at the our favorite beach. The one we went to the most. Down the beach from where you met the ocean for the first time. The last spot we had a good family swim day before things went dreadfully sideways with your health. This was our spot to drink in tranquility, quiet, enjoy nature without throngs of people and clueless tourists. I still can’t bring myself to go back specifically to Our Spot. I’ve made baby steps. It is a work in progress. #therapyworks We went to the spot where you met the ocean for the first time for Da Squidster’s first birthday photo shoot in January. She was unhappy with being made to pose (see last slide). And we made many trips back to that spot since then. We’ve done a couple trips to the small campground beach as a family, where you had your last swim with us summer 2020. With time and grace I’ll be back to Our Spot soon. This Holiday Season (which I start counting as soon as Spooky Season hits) has been especially rough as I’ve begun targeted trauma work in therapy. Digging into pain and grief and sadness and traumatic life experiences is draining. The path to healing is very raw, difficult to face, and painful in and of itself. To look at your trauma in the face and learn how to walk confidently without letting it hold you back is hard. Missing you is hard. Missing the life we had before the pandemic and your many illnesses sometimes feels comforting. Then I realize I’m caught in a time loop. So, I’m working on processing this heaviness and healing from it so I can embrace a future where you are fill my heart with happy memories instead of me looking back in regret and sadness—because our life together was magical. I deserve that. You deserve that. Your dad and your Squidster deserve it. Someday the holidays won’t be a time of pain anymore. And, despite this depression, the fact that I’m looking forward with hope to that day shows so much healing and promise already. A safari animal set of two newborn footie onesies and one terry cloth footie 0-3M onesie. These smaller onesies were a favorite, but the terry cloth was hardly used as we live in the tropics.
