like? thats all u have to do. just add a fucking 1 second voice line for a character talking about how they’re gay. how hard can that be
Because the sexuality would feel a bit slapped on. They want the sexuality to be a part of the character, not the character
[extremely het voice] uhhh if it literally ever comes up that a gay person is gay isn’t that just playing into stereotypes sweaty? :^)
My suggestions for gay voicelines:
1. Ana: Fareeha, why haven’t you married yet? Pharah: Women are complicated.
2. Zenyatta: You are more like your brother than you realize. Hanzo: The only similarity he and I share is a love for certain men.
3. Tracer: Zarya! How have you been, love? Zarya: Watch your words. I have quite the jealous girlfriend.
4. Ana: Why is it you never settled down, Morrison? Soldier 76: I don’t know how seriously people would take a mercenary married to another man. Ana: You must worry less about your image and more about your happiness, boy.
5. Mercy: Any girls you’ve got your eye on, Satya? Symmetra: My only true love is the Vishkar Coorperation. Mercy: Don’t lie to me. I’ve seen how you look at Amélie.
6. Widowmaker: Are you afraid, chérie? Would you like me to protect you? Tracer: Would you stop flirting with me? You tried to kill me twice.
7. Torbjörn: *that one pervy line about the mech* D.va: Why don’t you go stick your hand under Bastion’s hood? I know that’s what you’re into. Bastion: *concerned robot noises*
