y'know seeing most discussion of gaster in the weird route boil down to him just going "well that was fucked up lol," I can't help but think of how much missed potential is there. like is it really so strange to think the guy whose shattering was implied to be a suicide might have some Feelings about what just happened besides dull surprise?

Also now that the last episode is out can people stop fucking lying and saying “digital circus is too dark for kids” “digital circus is too disturbing for kids” “digital circus is too mature for kids” other than a few bleeped out swears and one joke about sex there is absolutely nothing in digital circus that isn’t covered in Steven Universe or Coraline.

The thing is Kinger having worked on the circus was genuinely the most obvious and intuitive conclusion to come to and if it turns out not to be true then goose’s whole “your theories are too convoluted/unexpected” thing will be completely nullified

So did anyone else notice that Abel had eerily similar mannerisms to Kinger and a similar voice or was that just me

Y’know, people were saying the same thing about the voice whenever ep3 dropped.

And we obviously know that the Baron is heavily inspired by Kinger

The “I think I found the way to leave” even sounded like him, but if Sean was doing his normal voice

• similar congested sounding voice with really hard consonants and very similar cadence or ways they structure their sentences. Main difference would be Abel spoke very elequently and proper, almost a slight English quality to it, whereas Kinger speaks very casually and almost has a borderline Brooklyn sounding accent at times

• using “ah,” as a filler word instead of “uh”, starting sentences with “ah, well”.

• similar body language such as Abel rubbing his neck when nervous, being clumsy and startling, putting his hands on his hips, visibly drooping with whole body when discouraged.

It honestly felt like we were watching Caine put on some creepy Kinger puppet show… very subtle form of psychological horror that was very effective.

i dont think kinger has dementia but this moment is such a good representation of how dementia works. sometimes people with dementia will get moments of clarity in moments you least expect, such as kinger getting clarity when hes in the light.

there will be something that triggers that clarity, something that is so etched in their mind but needs the right words, the right moment, and the right person to trigger it

Pomni was so locked in this episode also defending her dad from those ableist freaks
