My first instinct is to care, Care about those close, Close at times seem to be distant, Distant when you need them most, Most of my life I've tried to keep peace, Pieces of me are now broken...

Alone
I sit in my room, alone And think. Think. Think. I contemplate my role as a man, And how I have failed thus far. Even when it looks as if the future is becoming bright, A shadow forecasts the sun, And I am alone again. How does one call himself a man, When he is still looked at as a child, Not because he is immature, But because he is supported like one, He tries to be independent, But then he becomes alone again, While he is patient, others remain weary, He knows he will make it to the top, But afraid that when he does, others couldn't wait, He is alone, again...

My First Two Weeks At Kayzoe
As I mentioned in one of my previous posts, I recently accepted an internship with a marketing and SEO company called Kayzoe Marketing in Seattle. It's been two weeks since I have first started and I have to say it has been an interesting experience thus far.
At Kayzoe, I am a Copywrite Intern, so this means that I work and provide content for different companies on their webpage. Honestly, I have never really done content work, so it was a new experience for me. The goal of the content work I do is to utilize popular keywords so that when someone runs a Google or Yahoo! search for a product or service, that website will appear on the top of the results. It's definitely been a challenge, but great as well because I really get to be creative on the content I provide. At the same time a lot of research goes in to finding those keywords. In my first two weeks I've already done content work for 6 clients! I don't know about you, but that's a ton for someone who's never done it before haha.
This past week, I finally have a had a chance to meet our CEO, Andrei. It was great talking to him. Kayzoe has a small team, so Andrei truly cares about what interests each member of the Kayzoe team. After talking to him, he presented me with a great opportunity with the company. He asked me about what my interests are with SEO and asked if that would be something I could see in my future. To me, SEO is one big puzzle and trying to find the right pieces to get your website to the top of search engine results. I find it fascinating and a challenge, but I'm ready to take on the challenge.
Andrei proposed a possible apprenticeship to learn from him about SEO to eventually manage and run SEO for our clients. If it something that I like, enjoy, and good at, it could lead to a job after a few months. In the three months that Andrei has been looking for someone to propose this idea to, I am the first one so that gives me a lot of hope.
I am excited about the progress I have made in these two weeks with Kayzoe. I hope my progress only excels and will lead to good things quickly (because I could use the money). I can't wait for what the future holds for me!

How much do I owe?
Owe- to have an obligation to pay or repay for something received.
This has been a word that has haunted me pretty much my entire life. Growing up, my family wasn't the most financially set household in the neighborhood. As I grew up, there would be times in high school where I might borrow a couple of bucks to buy lunch or what not, eventually paying them back. I've always had a close group of friends and my family to support me even to this day whenever I was down on my luck. Very soon I will be able to pay the family and friends what I owe to them, but I know there is more to owe than money. I think it is a mutual understanding that whatever and whenever one of my friends is in need, I will always be there for them. At the same time, I am not forever indebted to them.
I have done a lot of work in my life to put myself in the best possible situation to succeed. Like I mentioned earlier, growing up my family was poor. Never really had tons of presents around the holidays like my peers, but I never thought of that as a disadvantage in my life. I found ways to still have my toys without asking my mom to buy them for me. And that was Radio Disney. See, Radio Disney was a way for me to win contests, get toys, and never having to bother my mom. I had a strategy of how to win and it worked! Toys, video games, electronics, clothes, I won it all on Radio Disney. As time past, I learned about utilizing social media to enter contests and wow, I'm still lucky enough to win!
Today, I won two tickets to a concert next month through a contest on Facebook. People may say, "You got lucky, there's no skill in winning contests." Yeah, they are right. But what I don't think people get is that I take the time to search for these contests, entering day after day to have a chance at winning, setting myself up to be in the best situation to win. I may annoy my friends with so many posts, but it works for me. So when I win, I feel like I should be able to ask anyone I want to go. So I did. When I tell my friends who I am taking, owe, comes echoing back at me.
"You owe it to this person to take them because they always have your back. What has that person done for you?" "You should sell your tickets and pay back the family and friends you owe." "You owe me for the things I've done for you."
Yes. I do owe those people a lot. But can I live for once? Is it okay for me to do something without having the consciousness to owe someone back? Of course, there were other times that I've won things and thought about the people I owe first. I always think of them, but this time I wanted to go with this certain person. It's tough because these are my best friends and I love hanging out and spending time with them, but they have me on this invisible leash, holding on to, owe. All of a sudden, because I didn't pick a person in my close circle, my character is judged. I think that is what saddens and angers me the most, that because close friends thought it was such a disappointing thing I did, my character comes into play. I hold a lot of pride in the person I am. I don't regret my choice, I'm happy I am going with this person. I just hope owe doesn't take advantage of me.

Repairing Jeans
As many readers know, the point of buying jeans made from high-quality denim is to get something that will age well and look better with time. In the process of wearing your jeans hard, however, you’ll find that certain stress points can “blow out,” particularly around the pockets, hem, crotch, knees, and buttonholes. A tailor or denim repair specialist can fix these for you, usually by using a technique called “darning.”
Darning is a process where you essentially “reweave” new yarns into an area that has been worn thin or completely blown out. A friend of mine recently darned my 3sixteens, and I just got them back this weekend. The first photo above shows my jeans before they were repaired, and the second shows them after. The jeans were getting a bit thin after about eight months of effective wear, but after some darning, the weak areas have been reinforced and they’re as study as they day they came.
Generally speaking, you want to repair your jeans at the first sign of danger. Like all fabrics, denim is woven with yarns running lengthwise (called the warp), and transverse threads running the width (called the weft). On denim, the blue warp yarns are typically the first to give out, so you know what areas are in danger of “blowing out” when you only see the white weft yarns holding an area together. If not taken care of soon, the area can suddenly just rip. The worse the damage, the more noticeable the repair will be. (Though, even with a badly ripped area, a good tailor can perform a pretty good repair. Here’s a particularly impressive job over at Superdenim, posted in a thread about just this topic.)
Many tailors can darn your jeans for a reasonably small fee, but if you’re not sure who to go to, or if your jeans are particularly dear to you, you may want to go to a specialty shop. Operations such Self Edge, Blue in Green, Denim Doctors, Denim Therapy, Schaeffer’s Garment Hotel, and Denim Surgeon are commonly recommended in the denim community. Some of these places might charge a little more than your local tailor, but you can be sure they’ll also do an excellent job.
If you’re feeling up for the challenge, you can also learn how to darn your own jeans. These two ladies have a tutorial on YouTube, and The Bandanna Almanac has a post on how to darn by hand. I imagine the second technique won’t give you something sturdy enough for jeans, but it looks like a neat thing to learn.

This Sunday, it’ll be the final stage of the journey for kindly schoolteacher Mr. White – and the murders committed by Walt. Some of the deaths in Breaking Bad are spectacular, others subdued, but none are simply sensationalistic: each killing reveals something about the killer, the victim or the world they inhabit. Take a look at our list of Breaking Bad’s 10 most memorable murders to see which kills made the cut.
