Finally conviced Mira to make a blog with me. Took her a bit, but connecting with all our fans is important to us! Can't wait to hear from you all, but please be respectful, or our HR team (a very angry Mira) will have to handle the situation.

Its a long way down, but finally, they reach the gym. At a glance, it seems pretty standard. There's a wall lined with mirrors and a bar for choreography, a couple sets of weight training equipment, and other normal equipment one would expect from a place designed with idols in mind. But things get a little stranger as they head further back in. There's a punching bag with several spares lined up against the wall, dummy weapons of nearly every type, and equipment more in line for a gold medal olympiad than a pop star. And most striking of all, a large ring evidently made for sparring. Mira turns to Zoey.
Well, here we are. How do we want to do this? Rumi and I could spar first, and let you decide who you want to go up against after?
*Zoey was a tad distracted at first, as she was looking at the equipment until Mira spoke up. While it would be hard to admit she wasn't intimidated, especially with the ring in the room looming over, she was curious how they fought. So, she was set in her choice.*

Mira barely jumps back in time, and then she's rushing forward to get inside Rumi's guard and attempt a strike at her side.
Rumi grabs the staff with her hand, using the end of her own staff to strike at Mira's chest.
She blocks with her forearm, gritting her teeth at the pain and twisting back to tear her staff free again. She steps back just out of Rumi's range, waiting for her to strike again
Rumi smirks, eyes glinting yellow as she suddenly vanishes in a puff of smoke, appearing in the air behind Mira and falling towards her.
*Zoey was doing her best to focus, trying to store both idols' moves in her head to reference for later. Admittedly, she was also in awe at how they moved. Despite it being practice, she could tell they were both giving so much effort! She still cringed as Mira was hit, as if she were also taking the blow. In a sense, she felt like both an observer and part of the spar itself. She was still taken aback when Rumi suddenly teleported, and kept watching the fight intensely.*
Mira darts forward the second Rumi disappears, feeling the wind rush behind her. She takes advantage Rumi's momentary distraction with landing to go on the offensive, aiming a blow towards her chest
Rumi grabs the staff with both hands, her tail grabbing at Mira's blindspot again, wrapoing around her ankle as she yanks Mira forwards, grabbing her by the shoulders and pinning her to the ground, knee on Mira's stomach for good measure.
Mira wheezes when she hits the ground, pushing up with as much force as she can muster. But she had trouble dislodging Rumi before whatever demonic puberty she had took over, now it's basically impossible. So she goes slack with a feigned defeated sigh, gears turning in the back of her mind. They hadn't told Zoey about them yet, but... Hey, actions speak louder than words, right?
Yeah, Demons don't fight fair...
She looks up at that smug grin leering down at her, noting the way her grip has loosened now that she thinks Mira's forfeited. It seals the deal for her.
But neither do we!
She grabs the collar of Rumi's shirt, yanking her down into a kiss so fast that their teeth click together painfully for a moment. And then, While she's off guard, she heaves with everything she has to get Rumi to roll off of her. In a split second she's grabbed her staff again and pressed it down across Rumi's chest and forearms, as she's now straddling her waist. She knows the half demon could throw her off in an instant, but hey, she at least got her here.
*...*
*Did...Did Zoey just see that right? Suddenly, everything she could ever think of anymore was gone...And it was all replaced with the moment Mira kissed Rumi. Zoey, for about several seconds, was silent, staring at the two idols. Her jaw was agape and she was still. But that silence didn't last long.*
Y-you...
*Zoey tries to speak-Only to stutter. And then again. And again. She legitimately could not reason that the sudden move-and the straddling-was just part of the fight. With a mixture of shock and her inner-fan screaming at the top of her lungs, she could barely contain herself.*
Oh my god...Oh my god!
*She kept glancing back and forth at the idols. There's an almost 100% chance that she's flustered, but if Zoey was, she didn't notice and definitely already had too much on her mind to fix it.*
I-i mean...G-good job! I, uhm...Will remember that! Yup!

Once everyone's ready, they get set up in their studio. It's full of top of the line equipment, everything from assorted instruments to expensive microphones. It's been a minute since they've been in here, but there's a few old demos still loaded up on one of the computers.
Hmm, let's see what you've got. Oh, here, this one was giving us trouble a while ago. It's missing something, but we could never pinpoint exactly what. Anything here is fair game, go wild.
Mira selects an instrumental demo, and pulls up the early draft for the lyrics on another monitor. Something about it had stumped both her and Rumi, while they liked the concept they just couldn't get the lyrics to where they wanted them.
*Zoey squints, scanning the lyrics on the screen, and she's a bit confused at what Mira said about them. They were good, obviously more professional than anything from Zoey's countless notebooks. However, she still gave it a shot. What did she have to lose?Then, as the instrumental started, something in her head clicked.*
Oh! Okay, okay...
*There's a certain edge in her voice as she sang. Nothing that went against the song's tone, more like she was pushing it closer to another genre. As she kept reciting the lyrics, there's also a clear shift in confidence coming from her, still not quite like her videos, but still a far cry from how she was last night.*
Mira raises an eyebrow, taking a moment to analyze where Zoey was taking it. The second she realizes Zoey's intention, it clicks for her too, and a second later she's pulling up the track on the mixing equipment to make minute adjustments, with assistance from Rumi. Zoey's singing is phenomenal, Mira's already visualizing the choreography she could incorporate. The beats are harder hitting, bold, but not without beauty too. She can see the Honmoon start to move with every note Zoey hits, and she smiles.
*Zoey starts to subconsciously nods her head to the beat, fully focused on the song. When the song was changing, she did her best to match it. Though with the change, that had to mean they liked it, right? She didn't dwell on it as she focused on the next set of lyrics. To her, music was one of the few things in the world that just made sense.*
The lyrics run out before the track finishes, and quick thinking on Mira's part has her drawing the melody back while leaving the beat, attempting to set Zoey up for a freestyle.
Rumi crosses her arms and leans against the wall, watching Zoey sing, clearly impressed by what she's seeing so far.
*Just like that, the lyrics were gone. Still, Zoey could tell that the song was still going on. Think! What would...Oh! Wait, wait, she didn't have the time to pause!*
Yeah, yeah, okay, like I know I ramble-But when shootin' my words I go Rambo, took blood, sweat, and tears to look natural!
*Her rapping went a bit fast for her liking, and maybe she could've freestyled a lot better, but right now, what mattered was if it was okay, or even good enough for the song.*
Rumi was extremely impressed. Most people would stumble over themselves in Zoey's situation, yet she adapted perfectly.
*Soon the track slowly ended, leaving Zoey with adrenaline. While publicly rapping (or singing) wasn't alien to her in the slightest, doing so here held a completely different vibe. And now, with the silence creeping in, she faced the idols.*
...So, how was that?

Mira rewards Zoey with a rare smile. Well, rare for everyone but Rumi.

*Zoey didn't mean to stutter now, but hearing Rumi and Mira's praise just quieted her doubts. And seeing Mira's smile?! Zoey felt her heart race even more. Still...She had to be humble, right?*

Zoey, you know you're allowed to be proud of your success. Honmoon knows Mira and I are. You should see Mira sometimes. You only need to worey about your image in public, but we aren't in public. We want to know the real you.
*Zoey softly hummed at what Rumi said. The...Real her, huh? Still, a part of her, that doubt gnawed at the back of her mind. And yet...She really wanted to try being herself, being too much or too little be damned!*
As long as you guys don't mind hearing a ton of marine life facts!
*She awkwardly chuckles before looking at the set of computers.*
...Got anymore demos you want me to freestyle with?
Mira nods, still smiling.
A couple, yeah. Rumi and I might join you just to see how we fit in
*Zoey gasps. Of course, she knew something like that would happen-But hearing it (possibly) happen now felt different.*
Really-?!
*For a moment, she was starting to reel it back again. Noticing that, she then said*
Totally fair if neither if you don't want to, but why not right now?
Mira nods.
That works for me.
She loads up another demo, tapping along to the beat.
*Zoey quickly followed, once again nodding her head to the new beat. It sounded good so far. As the lyrics show, she starts to sing.*
Rumi mainly lets Zoey sing, but hops in when it's her verse.
*As Zoey listened along, she immediately felt captivated. Much like how she treated the music, she was amplifying Rumi's voice as they sang.*
Mira joins in as well, lower notes backing up the higher ones of the other two. When the three reach the chorus together, the Honmoon ripples and glows brighter than ever before. Judging by the way Zoey's eyes widen, she can see it now too.
*Seeing the glowing blue ripples does surprise Zoey, just as much as when she realized how harmonious the three of them were being! And yet, she didn't stutter. The ripples vaguely reminded her of stanzas from music sheets-or maybe the strings of a guitar? A set of them were in front of her, and she was hesitating to reach out and pluck them...*
Mira grins, motioning for Zoey to go on as they continue singing. She's had ages to get used to the Honmoon, and well, everything involved with this. But Zoey hasn't, and she can already tell that it's going to be fun watching her figure it out.
*Zoey couldn't help but slightly blush as she was seeing Mira encourage her. So, looking back at the strands, she guided her hand. She wasn’t exactly sure what she was expecting to feel from the Honmoon, but it felt...Nice. Kind of a mix between a gentle breeze and a river-At least it felt as cold as both of those. Yet as she was pulling her hand away, a light started to shine.*
*A blade-No, multiple started to form from the strands. With how uncannyily smooth they felt, Zoey flinched, dropping all but one of them. Even then, the final one was awkwardly held by the golden tassel. The others, as they fell, made a light clattering before they blipped back into the cerulean strands. Due to the shock, Zoey had stopped singing, losing the flow of the music. Looking back at Rumi and Mira, she was quick to apologize.*
Shit, sorry-
*She wasn’t exactly sure what she was apologizing for, messing up summoning the weapon (which sure she wasn’t expecting, but it still felt super embarrassing) or disrupting the harmony (because she at least knew music). But either way, she then said,*
Guess I still have a lot to learn, huh?
Rumi laughs softly.
It's fine. It's jarring ,summoning your weapon the first time. When I did it, I summoned it blade first and nearly sliced my hand open before I got stopped from grabbing it. Mira didn't realize how long hers was going to be and pulled it out so fast she hit jerself in the face and gave herself a black eye.
Mira's smile drops as quickly as it appeared, and she punches Rumi's shoulder.
Rumi I swear to god- you could at least try to let me keep my reputation
*Zoey snickers. It's sudden, and like the summoning, she didn't mean to.*
You make it sound like I'm still just a fan.
*She somewhat corrects her grip on the singular blade. It's still very awkward-looking since her hand isn't completely wrapped around it, and it was still held on the flat side.*
Besides, I like this-I mean, seeing you guys like this! And if that means my entire view of either of you are shattered...Then I wouldn't mind a bit.
Good, because I don't think she's going to let me go unexposed.
Mira shoots a look at Rumi, chuckles softly. Her gaze is drawn to the newly formed weapon, and she takes a moment to consider it. A knife... shin-kai, if memory serves. Ranged weapons, perfect to balance out her and Rumi's more close range combat. And it hopefully means she'd be a little further out of the range of combat and at less risk of injury. She raises a hand to correct Zoey's grip on the blade, but pauses before she touches her.

*Zoey's quick to notice Mira’s intent. It's a small gesture, but she still appreciates it.*
Yeah, please.
Gently, Mira cups her hand over Zoey's own and readjusts her grip on the blade. The action brings the two closer together, and Mira's quiet intensity doesn't falter at the change in proximity. Celine had them both trained in the basics for most weapons before they summoned their own, to help them figure out what felt most natural.
There, like that. These can be held like this or thrown, they're versatile. Lightweight, flexible, perfect for someone like you.

*Zoey smiled, however internally she felt her heart beat a hundred miles a minute as Mira was very close to her now. What was really getting to her however was the adjustment Mira helped her with, and now her thumb rested against the blade proper. And with the mention of potientally throwing these, she tucks that into the back of her mind...For now though, Zoey focused on her grip, then Mira’s hands as she let go, and trying her best to steady her hand without accidently pressing her fingers too harshly against the edge of the blade.*
Mira nods, drawing back again. She's well aware of how her presence is affecting Zoey, and as amusing as it is, she won't make an effort to fluster her too badly. For now.
Well, I'm more than satisfied with that as far as singing goes. Do you want to head down to the studio and see how the more physical side of things play out?
*Zoey quietly sighs, both in relief that her heart didn't explode, but it also in slight disappointment as Mira drew away.*
Y-yeah! I'm actually really looking forward it now.
*Then, she glanced at her weapon and remembered what Rumi said this morning. They weren't going to use their usual ones. She purposely dropped her blade, which like the others had faded back onto the Honmoon's threads.*

Zoey had gone to bed at some point, she just wasn't sure when. But after the excitement that was meeting Mira and Rumi, learning about the demon hunting stuff and just being here (plus some form of jet lag)-It must've exhausted her enough to sleep and wake up at a (mostly) reasonable hour. If they did...Maybe they were being polite and weren't planning on mentioning it, and for now, she was going to try and push that away into the back of her mind. And to do that, she had to get ready.*
Wakefulness comes back to Mira slowly. The morning is quiet, and the warm body wrapped almost entirely around her is more than comfortable. It's hard to muster the motivation to move, but it's new day, with a new acquaintance, and new experiences to be had. They need to get up soon, to make breakfast, and a good impression on Zoey. She's nearly free when those strong arms wrap around her waist and pull her back against Rumi again. She sighs, and reaches for her phone instead.
