i spent ages trying to color match the grass but now idk if i want to use patterns at all in apricot, so.. here. a circle of stones. it matches late february/early march grass around 3-4pm. probably best as an accent tile rather than a full path.

Once you learn the basics of laying your pathways you can quickly and efficiently lay them throughout your town!  

It’s really simple now that you know the pattern in which they lay down!  It doesnt matter what way your character is facing. The pathways will always lay in the same pattern.

Back Right

Back Left

If you have squares that were previously laid down then the new path will continue to follow the same pattern but skip around the pathways that are already on the ground!  **TIP for laying vertical pathways**

So I was trying to find a new water design for paths in my town, but I couldn’t find one that I liked, so I made one and decided to share it! This is my first design ever, and it’s still a WIP as it’s missing the top left and right connectors. In any case, enjoy!

EDIT: I updated a few of the QRs and added finally added the last two corner pieces that were missing. Since Tumblr only allows 10 photos per photoset, they’re separate images from the rest. Enjoy!!!

I’m always changing up my town paths and stuff, and recently decided to go with natural dirt paths for majority of it. But I still wanted something around the town hall area and the fountains, so after looking into some qr codes and not finding what I was looking for, I made my own! There are a handful of water paths that have bridges or grates, but usually they only work in one direction. I wanted to make a water path with grates so that you can still see the water flow, but be “able” to walk over it (yes, I know you technically can because it’s just a pattern, but still!).

Hello there again

Well, it has been a while since i posted something on tumblr, but i really need the help of my fellow equestrians. You see, i switched from english to western riding, and i feel as if i never had ridden before, it is all so diffrent from the turning to the attention i have to put on my seat and on what i'm doing. I'm really excited by this change and i really think it will make me grow as an equestrian but i also have my doubts (mostly on the dffing turning lol). Has anyone else gone trough this too? How did you handle it? How are you doing now?

P. S sorry i'm not english, but i tried my best with the writing.

Eilà, è da un po che non posto niente su Tumblr, ma ho davvero bisogno di consigli dai miei compagni cavalieri/amazzoni. Vedete, da poco ho cambiato dalla monta inglese a quella americana, ed è come se non avessi mai montato prima. È tutto così diverso, dal modo di girare all'attenzione che devo prestare al mio assetto e a quello che sto facendo. Non fraintemdetemi, sono molto eccitata all'idea di poter provare qualcosa di nuovo, e credo che questa esperienza mi arricchirà come amazzone, a ho anche io i miei dubbi (sopratutto sul come adattarmi al nuovo modo di girare lol). Qualcun'altro ha fatto questo cambio? Come vi siete trovati? E come va adesso, avete mollato o siete andati avanti per questa strada?

recover from ‘burnout’ in five steps

1. reward yourself for working so hard. take a long bath with your favourite bath bomb, take time to cook your favourite meal, paint your nails. recognise that you worked hard and it was tough and that you deserve time for yourself

2. catch up on sleep. nothing makes studying harder than being exhausted. clear your schedule and have a lie in. even if you don’t sleep late, stay in bed and enjoy a guilt-free lazy morning

3. do something fun. invite your friends over for a movie night, take your dog for a walk. remind yourself that there is more to life than textbooks and notes

4. make a plan. start getting ready to get back into study mode. make a todo list, a study schedule, and a list of your deadlines

5. organise your space. declutter your desk so you have a clean space to be productive in. tidy desk, tidy mind
