“I want to make sure I write the best script I can possibly write, so I need to go away in a cave and write that script and finish it and then come out and go ‘okay’ and work with the guys and really make sure we’ve got the best story to tell and the best way into this character. I think we have a lot of things in it that…people know my run from Green Lantern and so they shouldn’t be too surprised by seeing what we bring into it,” Johns said.

Fans of his acclaimed run on the title can anticipate some of those elements, like the introduction of the emotional spectrum, which made the green power of Will one of several power sets in the DCU along with Compassion (Violet), Rage (Red), Hope (Blue), and more.

I think what some people don’t realize is that:

Tango Gameworks still worked on TEW2.

Trent Haaga (TEW2 writer) wrote for TEW1 too.

John Johanas was made director of TEW2 because he directed and wrote “The Assignment” and “The Consequence” which got a lot more positive reception and praise than TEW1 (main game).

The english voiceactors got changed most likely because of the voiceactor strike happening around development time of TEW2.

TEW2 haters are just so salty. “People are enjoying the other game more??? HOW DARE THEY. THEY’RE NOT ALLOWED TO ENJOY SOMETHING I DIDN’T LIKE.” God forbid TEW2 fans have fun without them.

As a Yang fan, I really dislike the Blake x Yang ship. Because it’s built on the fantasy that people want Yang to save Blake from her hang-ups. That she’s the sun to her moon. Like it almost seems like they want Yang’s world to revolve around Blake. For her to be head over heels in love with Blake. For her to keep chasing Blake for her attention. While Blake stands there, receiving everyone’s attention.

Which is definitely not the case and in my opinion does such a disservice to both characters.

One of Yang’s main thing is her abandonment issues. She’s tired of having to be the one to always chase everyone around. And yet that’s exactly what the BlakexYang fans want to happen. It hurts Yang. A LOT. That setup. It’s not healthy for her. She needs people who are there to support her.

That scene with Weiss, where someone finally heard Yang’s despair about being left behind all the time, and Weiss supporting Yang, but also telling her to keep supporting their friend too was such a great scene. It’s exactly the thing Yang needs. Someone to remind her that she is the kind of person who cares and who wants to support people. And someone who tells her they can both do it, and in times of need, assure Yang that they’re there to support her too.

In the future, yeah, Blake will probably be there again to support Yang. But it doesn’t mean it has to be a ship. I thought you people have been promoting the idea that platonic friendships should be as important as romantic relationships. What happened to that? Why do you guys keep pushing for the idea that Blake is the centre of Yang’s world? Why does Blake get to be Yang’s tall dark and mysterious object of obsession???

I don’t hate Blake, in fact, I’m happy she’s getting her own arc as well. One that suits her character. One where her surrounding cast tells a very great story about the difference between being a burden who needs help and actually letting people who care for you help. She doesn’t need a savoir. She needs someone like Sun who can persistently nudge her to a more positive and chill way of thinking, on the road to saving herself. On being happy with herself.

Lastly, I honestly want Yang to have stories and arcs that don’t revolve around Blake. Because my favourite character is not just there for your ship. She’s there for her own journey. And thank god @roosterteeth​ for vol 5, for making such a strong character development arc for her.

anyway i will never forgive the evil within 2 for hetero-forcing sebastian and this poor uncomfortably rendered woman who looks like a raptor/ what the devs probably think a woman looks like despite never having seen one

and I know they tried to push how #straight he is but all they did is prove the opposite because nothing can beat the blatant discomfort of every fucking scene where sebastian interacts with his wife

Or maybe you just don’t like women. Or women who don’t look like god tier models. God forbid they don’t look like your standard of beauty. Maybe. Or you’re just butthurt you can’t ship your dudexdude ship anymore, when you know there’s a thing called fandom where you can do that lol. Actually just take off all the women from the game and ship all the dudes. Maybe that’s more your speed.

Poorly disguised misogyny is very poorly disguised. Either that or you’re not even self-aware.Which is a shame because idk, you seem to want to advocate equal-rights, yet here you are hating on female characters for the sake of your boys having a good time. Sounds like your typical “kill that female character for my dude ship” shit. Nice.
