To clarify, I don’t post nsfw on this tumblr but the flagging and regulations have already caused enough mayhem. Non-nsfw across the board is being flagged– my own and others. • don’t finish/say complete sentences

• interrupt a line of thought with a sudden new one

• say ‘uh’ between words when unsure

• accidentally blend multiple words together, and may start the sentence over again

• repeat filler words such as ‘like’ ‘literally’ ‘really’ ‘anyways’ and ‘i think’

• begin and/or end sentences with phrases such as ‘eh’ and ‘you know’, and may make those phrases into question form to get another’s input

• repeat words/phrases when in an excited state

All of this. I get a lot of compliments on my dialogue and this list pretty much covers what I do (but some of it, I didn’t even realize I did, lol). I highly recommend reading your dialogue aloud (or imagining it in realtime like a movie scene) to see if it feels natural, which is what I do when editing.

So tumblr’s dead

The aesthetic tags are getting deleted The fanarts are getting deleted The art references are getting deleted I've joined tumblr 5-6 years ago and I loved it, despite of all the bad reputation It really helped me grow as a person. I used it when I couldn't sleep, when I was anxious, when I was bored, when I needed inspiration or just wanted to look at things that I liked, this site was always a place to go. It's not just about nsfw stuff, If it were staff wolud just improved their safety option. Its about killing off artist, tags and fandoms for money, this site has issues but instead of dealing with it and triyng to repear it they just throw it under the bus and hope for a place in the apple store. When David sold the site to yahoo! we all knew that its gonna go bad and it did and now I think I'm gonna say goodbye. I'm just so sad and disappointed and tired, first net neutrality, now tumblr and soon article 13. Tumblr and youtube helped me through tough times and now they might be gone and I just can't belive it.
