Jude and Cardan banter, a lot
When Jude is tired after her day at the palace listening to everyone’s grievances, Cardan hugs her and doesn’t leave her for an hour
When Cardan goes to bed but Jude doesn’t because she wants to work some more, Cardan stays awake and works, too. Then when Jude comes to bed she’s surprised and Cardan says, “I can’t let the love of my life stay awake and work alone.” and then Jurdan go to bed and they cuddle (Jude is the little spoon) and sleep
When they’re with the rest of the family for movie night in winter, Jurdan share a blanket and do the thumb twiddly thing. Jude lets Cardan win
When they’re having dinner together, they play footsies. Jude ends up taking it to a higher level, one thing leads to another and they end up in bed hehe
Whenever she’s sleepy but has work, Jude rests her head on Cardan’s shoulder. Cardan strokes her hair lovingly and kisses her forehead
When Cardan is sleepy but has work, he pouts at Jude. Kebause they’ve developed a non-verbal language, Jude knows what he wants. She hugs him around the waist and kisses him on the cheek, except Cardan turns his face and she ends up kissing him on the lips instead
Cardan gets better at swordplay. He disarms Jude one day and he’s so shocked that he drops the sword and whoops. Jude is astonished but then she puts him on swordpoint. Cardan turns to her with a blinding smile and her lips curve into a smile involuntarily in turn. Then she brings him closer and nuzzles her nose with his. And then kisses him :D
One day when Jude can’t figure out the solution to a problem, she’s frowning in the distance. When Cardan comes up to her to talk to her about something, he sees her pouting and can’t resist pinching her cheeks softly. Then she turns to him but instead of saying something, she burrows her face in his chest and slowly, her whole body relaxes. Cardan wraps his arms around her and they stay like that for a while
They take a trip to the beaches in the mortal world (Cardan’s tail is glamoured) and when Cardan sees Jude in a swimsuit he tries not to show her too much of a reaction. Then he sees a guy looking at Jude. He narrows his eyes at him, goes to stand right in front of Jude, says she’s looking beautiful, and kisses her on the nose. Jude whispers if you don’t stop with the PDA, I’ll break your arm in his ear. So then Cardan takes a careful step back, waits till her attention is elsewhere and then swoops her in his arms and takes running to the water. Right when he’s about to throw her in, he glances at her face- sees her eyes shining, mouth pulled into a wide grin and stops awe-struck. Jude kisses him, he says who’s showing affection in public now? and then Jude just kisses him more in response
When Jude is working and Cardan feels like doing nothing, he ambles into her workroom, sprawls over her lap and talks about anything and everything. Jude smiles and nods in time with what he’s saying and runs her fingers through his hair. Cardan strokes her ear and cheek and then Jude starts blushing furiously
When Jurdan have to watch over Oak one day and he can’t fall asleep, Cardan brings him to their room. He tells Oak a story while Jude is out getting snacks. When she returns, Oak and Cardan are both asleep. Oak is wrapped up in a smol blankie but Cardan isn’t, so Jude brings a unicorn blankie, wraps Cardan up like a burrito and kisses him on the forehead
When Jude is feeling lazy, she stays home all day and practices swordplay with the Ghost. When Cardan comes home at night, he sees that Jude fell asleep on their bed while she was working on her laptop. He clears the bed up and brings a fluffy blankie to wrap her up in retaliation for the time she did the same to him. When he finishes wrapping her up, he kisses her on the cheek and gets up, but Jude grasps his hand and says Stay so then they cuddle within the blankie and watch a romantic movie. When a sex scene comes on, Jude begins blushing and hides her head in the crook of Cardan’s neck. He chuckles and grips her tighter on the waist and tells her to stop being adorable. She frowns up at him so he kisses her nose and then she melts against him
