Kat smiled down at the extended treat one a moment before reaching out and taking it gratefully. 

"Mhm, we can trade names later," Kat shook her head playfully. She took a bite of the cookie and was surprised at its flavor. "These are really good, baker." 

Kat looked around the room and was unsettled at how…. normal everything felt. She could not get a deceptive or malicious read from the fey’s glamour. She only saw contentment and ease. Kat looked over at the seemingly harmless fey. 

"Why a baker?" Kat’s curiosity had gotten the better of her, so she found a windowsill to perch in.

"I'm not as physically able to fight against someone like those iron knights and I'm no genius in hacking and the norm." He chuckled as he took the tray out of the oven to cool.

"Besides, who's gonna keep all of their brains and brawn working without food?" He leaned against the counter top, across from her. "Besides the view is nice over here." He gestured towards the window where there was a clear view of the courtyard where the iron knights were training.

"It's Jules or Jullie by the way. If ever you get tired of calling me baker."

Kat pursed her lips and raised an eyebrow. Of course something like this happened. Grim was going to have a laugh at her later over this blunder. The Chef? What in the world made her think he’d be here. 

"Well, if you see a grey fluff-ball be sure to let me know." Kat spared a glance at the cookies laying out to cool and gave a small smirk. "They don’t smell half-bad."

"Of course not, they're baked with love and careful preparation minus the sweat." He grinned, he took one and offered it to her. Compared to all the other fey Jullie didn't have nor needed a reason to be skeptic.

"You can get one if you want. I have a whole other batch in the oven." He took one himself, "Don't worry the only nuts I mixed in are macadamia nuts. Also I'll remember to tell you if I do, Miss..?"
