this house is part of my earliest memories, this house is filled with grief and rich moments of life

after multiple deaths in my family the furniture has changed, there are less people coming in and out, the people who live here are trapped in their own shells and hidden away, the conversations are brief and always about the past

another internet friend of mine, this was Gary. I met him on world of warcraft circa 2008 or 2009, we played the game together for two years until he quit. we would have long talks about music and life and his job while questing, I was lying to him about my age because I was embarrassed about being 12 years old and he was who knows how old, I think late 30′s. I lied to everyone about my age. After he quit the game I would message him on facebook occasionally about what games he is playing now, all brief. Our last conversation was in 2011.

in May of 2021 Gary fell and hit his head, and passed away in the night. this is a picture of him in 2008 holding a friend of his I would see him pictured with a lot, Tamii aka dethkitn, at a local bar in arizona that they seemed to always hang out in, called the Blooze. this friend of his passed away long ago from cancer, circa 2013, I can’t remember. they are together again now.

these are images of an internet friend of mine from 10+ years ago, circa 2008, right before we met on world of warcraft. He is pictured in the red, and the rest of the kids are his friends, blissfully playing WoW together at their setups. He played a human paladin and taught me how to play the game, and quickly became a close friend of mine (not to mention the brief periods of time we would virtually “date”- we were both like 13). After he quit the game in 2011 or 2012, he joined the military and I lost contact with him. On and off he would find me and message me, or send me PMs on battle.net, but it was always brief conversation. He killed himself in 2019.
