Took this a few years ago. We made an #improvisedfloatingdeviceusing #net #textile which we made into bags to contain #recycled #plastic #bottles. We distributed these to #impoverished#flood-prone areas. I just hope that we were able to help out a lot of people. The man in the picture was one of the first ones who helped us in testing the #integrity of our little initiative (it worked, thank God). This is still one of the proudest things I've done and been a part of, in my career in #advertising.
#tbt to some years ago - my lovely barkada back in college #FineArts, @tet.enciso.art . She's thinner now, has only gotten lovelier and is currently backpacking through #Spain by herself. Talk about kickass. :)

No eyesore.
The stakes were raised, the outcome decides where they will sleep tonight - a bed or on the street again.
Despite the light trying to spill out, the edges are still dark, hinting at the looming night

in the mountains lies an endless sea of clouds
For every time he hit that snare, a line was added to his face. he’s been doing this for 213 years now.
Mom and Dad was in such a hurry. They packed all the bags and pushed everything into the back of the van and sped away not noticing they left baby behind. He belongs to the sea now.
“Come in, it’s great,” he yelled, splashing licks of seawater as he walked. She hesitated, standing still on a jutting rock, adamant in her belief that the tide’s coming in soon, along with its ferocious pull. “No.” She shook her head and placed her hands on her hips for emphasis. She could hear him laughing, the gales of sound matching the steady murmur of the oncoming surf. “Ow, come on, just this once!” he prompted again.
She almost did go, tempted by his laugh and the seemingly peaceful water. She peered beyond her stone, to the shallow shore near her feet.
She must have taken some time because the next time she heard him laugh, the sound was far away. She looked up alarmed, in time to see him disappearing beyond the horizon, borne by the tide and the setting sun.
