Just definitely a reminder that protesting will probably continue on the upcoming days if nothing significantly happens today. This was the same thing that had happened back in EDSA I where protesters would scatter confetti on the streets almost everyday before things really got to its end point as well as the main big EDSA protests that people remember taking about three days more or less. It wouldn't be surprising if people would continue marching more and more after today even if there would be weather disturbances and probably especially so.

today is a special day/holiday. if you think otherwise, you are discrediting over two million filipinos who stood up and fought against injustices of the government and a dictatorial president. they are the reason we are a democratic country today, why we have our freedom. don't let history be "corrected" or revised. it is all recorded and documented. don't be fooled. never forget. never again.

Getting emotional as I see all the inspiring footage of the protests in the Philippines. I hope y'all are able to continue and stay safe (especially considering that violent suppression runs in both the president & vice president's family history.)
